Is there a difference between console and PC?
Like is the game much easier to play on of then console. And is the game only being updated around PC? I read a post before where a guy says skills checks are so much easier on PC cuz of no delay. But is navigating the map easier on PC too? How much is different?
Ty for your answers.
I'm a PS4 player so idk if I'm missing out

PS4 - terrible framerate, limited controls(killer), the new dedicated servers are terrible, some control limitations for survivor

All versions are updated around the same time. PTB is PC only.
With PC you can get greater than 15 fps and able to play with keyboard and mouse. No extra fee to play online. Mileage varies on hardware.

The game is horribly optimized on console.

Xbox red/purples rank survivors are almost always a 3 or 4 man SWF. The devs released statistics that say SWF is rare on Xbox, but this factors all ranks and fails to give specifics for each rank color. Trust me almost every game is SWF above green ranks.
However since the last rank reset update there have been more and more solos at red ranks. Still you are looking at least a 50/50 chance of a 3/4 man SWF if you play at red or purple ranks. And pretty much an 80% chance of getting doubles. I know a lot of players on DBD and literally 1 person I know plays solo regularly. The rest are always in an SWF.
If you don't believe me just look through the DBD streamers on Mixer, which are mostly Xbox players. Literally every single streamer playing survivor is in an SWF. And even the killers are usually in a party with people that are in an SWF as survivor.

As someone who has played on both PS4 and PC these are my experiences on the difference between the two. PC has better audio. This was actually the largest difference in my experience. As a killer, if you are chasing an injured survivor it is much easier to echo-locate the survivors by sound. There is some difference in frame rates but it isn't as drastic as the PC elitists like to make it sound. There is also post game chat on PC but you can just hide it and forget it. Wait times as a killer are longer on PC. By a large amount actually. While there are some minor issues on PS4, I definitely prefer the experience. Mainly because I play on my big screen TV on my nice comfy sofa.

Not many people are brave enough to admit this.

One is considered "Master race" and the other "King of the consoles"...
oh,
You also have that Xbox thing too I guess.

No dedicated servers on console, some bugs aren't fixed as quickly if it's console only too, pretty sure.
Correct me about the latter if I'm wrong.
Some of the control and maneuvers can be a little bit harder to pull off too.

I’ve played on both PC and console and I do find a general difference with the characters movement as survivor. I feel like I get away with a lot more on PC, almost like I move slower on console

PC gives advantages, console is set at default. Obviously a mouse is easier to aim too.
