Looking to make your solo survivor experience even more tilting? Have I got the build for you!
Introducing...
THe Blood Brothers build
Perks
- Blood Pact
- Botany Knowledge
- Leader
- Prove Thyself
Strategy
This is the build version of team-mate roulette. It's success entirely depends on who becomes the obsession, with every other perk besides Blood Pact meant to support your newly founded ichor-sibling.
You'll be able to heal each other faster, repair gens faster, and have haste most of the game if you play your cards right. Unless your buddy is an idiot. There's no faster way to grow to hate someone than to use an entire build designed to support someone other than you, and have them sandbag and farm you anyway.
But when it works, it really works. I'd honestly recommend using this build with a friend and have them use For The People so they can steal the obsession status for you. Either way, give it a try!

considering soloq is not bad without any perks its not even a bad build

No No Mither?
3 -
Gonna try this.

I actually thought this was going to be about using aura reading to spy on tilting teammates, but nope. This is much worse! Or better, as you said it depends on your team

No Mither + Self Care

Lol, yeah I’ve already found Blood Pact very risky.
Ive been in games where they refuse to let me heal them.
Why?
Why do you not want free Haste?!

Where's object of obession for that tunneling goodness?
1 -
I just run Object so the killer stays on me all game so my teammates can do gens and not go down in 5 seconds like they always do.
2 -
I'm confused on what you mean here? Going into que is better if you have no perks on?
1 -
He means that this is better than nothing. I think

I've run this build before and I love it. But if you can get someone to play with and have them run "For the People" it can be really solid in a 2 person SWF.
Edit: apparently you said what I said as your last sentence. That's what I get for not being able to bother reading the whole thing.

yes

point was that soloq is completely fine even without any perks so this build would be pretty decent
definetely not meta but seems fun

Dont forget pharmacy and adrenaline

Prove Thyself isn't that great with only two people, so maybe it'd be better to swap out Prove Thyself for an exhaustion perk?
But yea, just a suggestion from your average Dead Hard addict :)

I prefer to just run Bond so I can always see my teammates not doing generators.
1 -
It's so wild how many folks just refuse to touch a Gen until they know you can see them, then they hop on one like they've been on it.

I duo queue with my wife and I love it when she will be getting chased right away, I get a gen to like 75-80% and some random runs up to help me finish it. Like...what uh, what were you doing so far this game bud?

This is so often, or you turn a Gen on in a killers face, go to run to be body blocked by the survivor who camped the pallet near you watching you work and doing nothing. Lots of voyeurs in soloq. Soloq with 1 swf or none has become mind numbingly boring. I hadn't realized that it's turned into hide and screw the team. The best is when they hide, get caught and DC or get caught and run to you to give you away. Killers happily go for you because they know you're doing gens and the others will never touch a Gen. Maybe it's just me, but when I run killer I kill the hiders first, that means I'll always find the rest on a Gen trying to leave.

That actually sounds very fun. You can also run a green key with the Wedding Ring addon

Blood Pact is a top tier perk and I feel like i'm the only one who knows it.
I think it shows the problem with survivors' mentality and reliance on free escape perks in this game. It gives you and a random player a great deal of info about what is going on, and thus the ability to make much better decisions; problem is, if you aren't all that bright or strategy-minded, you wont know what to do with that info, and wont be able to make better decisions anyway. And if you've spent nearly all your playtime relying on infinite life-builds (Dead Hard, DS, Unbreakable, BT), you won't ever learn how to use good intel. So you'll end up thinking that intel perks like Blood Pact and Kindred are trash.

You know they added a new achievement within this chapter? "Do at least 1 gen and escpape with 0 perks, 8 times"
Solo Que Challenge. Accepted!
