To those who complain about survivor queue times

Killer is WAY more fun!
But it is crazy that suvivor ques are longer. Not sure what you can do... I mean already each match takes 4 survivors our of que vs 1 killer. So even if there were FOUR TIMES as many people queuing survivor it should be about equal. I wonder what the ratio is...

Was killer main, having much more fun now playing survivor in swf, ez wins. Sucks if they bring a mori but gen rushing is the key

You can kinda do napkin math.
If getting a killer match takes 10 seconds for example, or .16 minutes, and finding a match as a survivor takes 5, you know that it takes a survivor 50 times longer to find a lobby than a killer (because the survivor playerbase and killer playerbase exit games at ROUGHLY' the same time), meaning that if there was only 1 survivor and 1 killer per-lobby, there were roughly 30 times as many survivors as killers. However, because its 4 survivors to a lobby the 'expected' time for a killer 'should' be 4 times longer. This means we can assume there are about 120 survivors for every killer during 5 minute wait Qs, at least at that given rank bracket.
Yikes!
Of course this is fuzzy, because survivors leave games staggered if solo, and SWF enter games as a 'block' compared to solos who basically need 'solo friendly' lobies. So its probably somewhere between those two numbers, in that case.
Still really demonstrates how uneven the community is population wise, which is a problem on multiple levels: It creates economic incentive to favor survivors both with changes (they are clearly buying more copies of the game) and DLC (there are more of them to buy more skins!). BHVR low key has an ugly incentive to do the bare minimum to keep enough killers in the game so survivor Qs don't become bonkers (And that is easier because of the 4v1 nature of the game, despite in theory survivors potentially outnumbering killers by over 100:1 the Q-times are only about 30 times longer than killer's 'near instant' in that 5 minute clogged Q scenario, each lost killer is less impactful than they would be if it was a 1v1 game) and otherwise keep the survivors as happy and spendy as possible.
Which is baaaasiiiically what happened in 2017 when Killer mains were told to play another game and that REALLY blew up in BHVR's face. Which is why I will instinctively side with killers on almost any issue despite playing both sides (And favoring survivor more when it is not unbearably easy. GO CORVIDS RAH RAH RAH!). There is a huge power imbalance between the two communities which MUST be recognized.

This wasnt an issue until BHVR CHANGED the matchmaking system in the Demogorgon chapter. Queues went from 4 seconds to multiple minutes and let me tell you the quality of the matchmaking did not improve enough to warrant the additional minutes of waiting.

Hmmmm, I like playing by the morning and it's the other way around: I have to wait 10 minutes to get a killer match when I can get a survivor match in 30 seconds.
Killer is only faster by night, when I usually wanna play something else, if I do play.
