Bloodlust

I think a cool idea for a bloodlust rework could be to make it so looking at the killer for a while activates it. It could work as a killer buff to make some mind games more viable.

Let me explain how it would work:

So you stare at the killer for like maybe 15 seconds during a chase and it'll activate. There can also be some kind of multiplier so the longer you stare the faster the killer will get it.

A lot of killer mind games require you to sacrifice line of sight so maybe survivor gameplay should encourage that too.

It could also encourage survivors to look in front of them more often since running into things is extremely common, it could buff garbage survivors that literally never look behind them, and it could serve as a killer buff without breaking the game.

It can also give beast of prey a chance to actually be useful.

There should only be one tier though, and you should lose it by getting stunned or missing a hit.

Seems like a decent idea in theory, but in practise it would probably either just make survivors hold w even more and just run away as early as possible or be buggy and inconsistent as hell like ghostface.

Most killer powers can punish survivors for trying to run away early. I agree with the second part tho cuz honestly at this point the game is just known for bugs.

The basics of Looping are to see what the Killer is doing and mirror their moves. This requires you to look at the Killer. So basically, people who want to be effective why looping and play in a way which helps their team would be punished because the Killer gets a Speedboost after a few seconds, but the Rank 18 Meghead who runs in a straight line without looking behind her will be rewarded for that way of playing.

"It could also encourage survivors to look in front of them more often since running into things is extremely common"

If someone is looking behind and running into objects that is their own mistake and if they get punished for that, this is a good thing. If someone does not want to run into Objects, they should look in front of them more often in general.

Bruh I don't mean a super strong speed boost to literally carry a baby killer into an easy down, just enough to spice up gameplay and encourage more mind games on both ends.

Also a rank 18 meghead playing like that would be downed pretty fast regardless
