A tiny little plot hole in the Oblivious description.
Description of the Oblivious status effect: "Survivors are oblivious to the presence of a nearby Killer."

Object against freddy when you're asleep is disgusting.

As long as Freddy can ignore BT there is nothing wrong with Freddy getting ######### on by Object. The advantage is way bigger than the disadvantage IMO.
(When it comes to Nemesis, it is true tho. Devs should just not have gone with stuff like Oblivious or Undetectable in the first place)

Oblivious should really be reworked to:
- block terror radius perception and any effects TR would have on survivor (as it does now), unless the killer is within survivor's line of sight / is observed directly
- block any(!) aura reading on killer
- block any other killer-detection perks (spine chill and premonition included)
- block hearing any killer-related sounds (footsteps, breathing) unless killer is within line of sight
This is simultaneously a serious buff to oblivious, making it on par with Undetectable; and it prevents abusing BT countering with freddy by smacking a rescuer on the way in once. Keep in mind, BT countering is still possible with it, it just becomes more involved. Basement becomes much scarier too.
And with this we can finally slap a nerf on the Nightmare, without sending him back into trash-tier.

And far too many Freddy players disrespect how powerful Blindness is when an OoO is in the match.

I would just rework that cursed perk, gives too much info and it affects some Killers more than others...

I get why they don't do it, as it would make Micheal/Pig/GF a lot stronger. But I wish it also disabled killer ambient noises, mainly for Demo.
The global "HELLO WORLD I AM TELEPORTING RIGHT NOW" and the loud footsteps really ruin any ambush potential of his.

ah yes unlimited info is fine if the freddy can ignore a perk if the survivor is asleep when the survivors may not even bring it let alone if the freddy actually does it.
totally not a major difference in power level let alone a ridiculous comparison to justify OoO destroying a killer.

You can complain about it, but if Freddy gets quite a huge advantage because of Oblivious, it is totally ok if he has a huge disadvantage as well. You will see way more BTs than Objects, so using "the survivors may not even bring" is a bad argument, lol.
If the Devs want to remove the disadvantage Freddy has when it comes to Oblivious, they should also remove the advantages he has. Freddy was not in need of such a Buff to ignore a Anti-Camp Perk without doing anything.

You're saying that the π¬πͺπππ¦π³'π΄ π±π°πΈπ¦π³, which inflicts oblivious on survivors, should have a downside equal to/more impactful than its benefits?
I dislike Freddy as much as anyone else but saying that OoO's strength against him is justified because one specific survivor perk maybe doesn't function vs him is ridiculous. A killer power should feel threatening.

first off it doesn't matter how often OoO is brought simply because of its nature as a perk which makes it used exclusively in good swf groups. When discussing balance consider what the hell your talking about why do you think the devs had so much backlash when they brought up the bs of OoO is fine because of how rare its used and it's low escape rate when it's obvious why its so rarely used and escaped with but still a problem.
Also as said the perks are not on the same power level especially when one is situational and the other is constant throughout the match, it's like comparing ub+ds to ruin+undying which isn't done of that reason and it's clear which is stronger situationally but that doesn't mean it is stronger because its situational. OoO is active throughout the match even in a chase while BT will only fail if 2 conditions are meet which is your asleep and the freddy actually hits the unhooked, OoO needs no such condition so because the perk by itself is very strong and its constant nature makes it WAY better than freddy being able to ignore BT.
lastly OoO is a problem across all killers not just freddy, because of the way the perk works it has that interaction with freddy. the perk needs a rework and obviously that's a better fix than changing its interaction with freddy.

If you think it is threatening that the Killer can just stand next to a hooked Survivor, ok. I simply have no sympathy for Freddy-players who complain about Object when they can negate BT without any effort.

the guys biased as hell obviously. using logic wont on him because his poor meta perk doesn't work against camping freddys when not all freddys camp let alone go for the unhooked and you simply have to be awake to get bt to work. while a camping freddy will still hit you to put you to sleep it doesn't change the fact that it's situational as hell for freddy to negate it as he has to be actively camping or your being an idiot and hook rushing/ saving while being chased.
But na that's obviously equal to being able to provide your team with info regardless of what the freddy does and it is extremely good in a chase since you can't be mindgamed and you can play way safer.

Thank you for calling me biased, I am playing both sides. :^)
Being awake against a camping Freddy does nothing, since Freddy can get a Hit in before the Unhook, as you said. And I am not even using BT to hook-rush, I use it to help my team to survive and just hate people who hook-rush, just because those have the potential to get a Perk I like to use as intended nerfed for their dumb playstyle.
And I am all for Object getting a Nerf, it is the Survivor-Perk which needs a change the most (IMO the only really problematic one).
(Even tho, have to see a Freddy who mindgames instead of just spamming Snares :^) )

if your for the perk getting nerfed then say it otherwise it looks like you support the perks busted effect. While i agree that it's unfair that freddy can tunnel easier because bt doesn't work my point and argument was that OoO's interaction with freddy is way stronger than him being able to ignore bt.
From what you said it just looks biased especially your first 2 post.
