Thoughts on the new event cosmetics?
Here are my opinions:
(In order of appearance)
Trapper: I like the detail on the backpack, but the goat head looks fake. Weapon looks neat, I like the snow. 7/10.
Elodie: Looks really cute overall. Not much to say about it, it's just a really solid skin. 8.5/10.
Ace: He reminds me of someone but I don't know who. The transparent lenses in his glasses threw me off, an I'm not a big fan of the hair or the white facial hair. They don't go well together in my opinion. 4.5/10.
Dwight: Looks like he's wearing a flak vest. Slippers are seriously cute, but the very existence of Elf Dwight means I don't plan on using this skin, which will knock it down a bit. 6/10.
Zarina: For a second I didn't recognize it was Zarina. I never play Zarina, but this is now her best skin in my opinion. It looks really cute, just like Elodie's. Again, solid all around. 8/10.
Claudette: I personally like it a lot! I'll be using it whenever I pick Claudette. I like the hair, I like the sweater, I like the glasses and the lipstick. They did well! 9.5/10.
Jake: It pans up to the face to the end, which kind of ruins the skin for me lmao. I like how it isn't that over the top, but the hair isn't that good and I don't like the color scheme. 5/10.
Twins: There's nothing to compare it to so my opinion may change, but I actually really like the weapon and all the blood and guts. Head looks cool, torso is eh. Also, Victor looks different to me. It could be the lighting or it could be my terrible memory, but if they really changed Victor's look it gives me a lot of hope for future Twins skins. 7/10.
Bonus round- Cheryl sweater: I adore Cheryl, and I adore this sweater just as much. I like it a lot, and you know I'll be rocking it for the rest of December and maybe even afterwards. 10/10, but I am biased.

For some reason I've been liking making tier charts in MS paint recently.
Something completely unrelated at all aside, this is how I feel about their outfits.
Side Notes:
- Kinda excited to see Ace's outfit in the store to see if the pants would be any decent with my signature outfit.
- Disappointed both the killer didn't have memey outfits (maybe Trapper counts, but I feel too much disappointment as I don't think it looks good and it's a set, also I don't think Krampus should've been on Trapper)
- Dwight-In-The-Box is an absolute joke to the absolute CHAD of Dwelf.
- Not saying Claudette isn't memey, just the less memeable compared to the others imo.
- Jake is now my secondary main because of this trailer. Not only does he have a shoeless cosmetic, but the trailer portrayed himself as if he was a boss in one the Yakuza games, and I absolutely love that.

And Box Dwight is a total beta yeah.
I disagree with Trapper, but only because I like the detail it has.

And now that I see and noticed the detail more on Krampus, I'd put it slightly higher than Zarina.

I thought they all looked fantastic. Will I be buying them? ...probably not. I really like the outfits I already have.
Doesn't detract from how good they are though.

I'll be getting Dweet's but the Dwelf is still a superior Christmas cosmetic to all of them.

Okay, after watching this trailer for these cosmetics I wanna say; I loved the trailer more than seeing the cosmetics, love the look of them don't get me wrong! But, that trailer was so creative and just...I loved it?

First of all, I wanna say how pissed I am that we got Krampus as a skin rather than a full blown killer, and the one we got looks not that good. Now I might be a hater because it doesn't look like the one from 2015, and there are many iterations but, this? Really? The face looks unrealistic like the one we got from Oni, and Krampus, doesn't use a weapon like that, in lore he use's either a hook similar to Charlotte's or a wad of thick bushes would've felt like a barbed wire in the past. Also most iterations now a days depict him as more human like with face but still looks demonic. I honestly wish we instead of getting Krampus as a skin, but a killer, I mean its only fair since we got Blight, and he's from a halloween event so why not in this case?

There was so much potential for a Kramer’s skin. He could temporarily “kidnap” them and hit when with his whip, taking down a health state. Idk, maybe that’s OP or the opposite but still, so much potential

I don't agree with Krampus as a killer. Blight only came in because he was a big part of the lore.
But I agree that the weapon could have looked different, but I think it still looks okay. I do agree that the head literally looks like it's made of plastic.

Midnight I totally agree, I probably would've thought of Krampus as the cloaked figure or at least looking like St. Nicholas, from what I've read they are actually brothers, or twins. They could've done a lot more for Krampus, and he is in my book one of the most terrifying monsters I've seen in the past decade or so.
Dorito, now that I think about it, yeah Blight was important to the lore, but I do think they should've added more clothing, and to have trapper of all killers be the Krampus, is just idk makes me kinda sad. Trapper isn't the best killer, and I personally thought Blight was a better candidate for Krampus. But there no going back so I will live with it

Oni realistically is the best fit for Krampus, but I understand why they didn’t give it to him because he just got Minotaur

That one looks cool but dog gone it can you at least change his kanebo into an axe or something? It just makes the skin feel out of place.

I agree 1000%. If I’m paying 15 dollars for a single cosmetics, I want effort. No Kanobo, replace it with something. My idea was a free Column that he ripped out of Greece and started bashing people with. Second, new VA. Not saying Oni’s isn’t good, just that he’s a different character so he needs a different voice. Third, different animations. This could be a stretch, but having Oni with his head down when he’s demon dashing so it looks like he’s charging like a bull. Only for survivor’s perspectives though, cant have him being blind while charging.

Elodie's reindeer onesie is great except for one GLARING issue. The tail is a freakin BUNNY tail, not a deer tail. That's a no for me, not getting it. The tail is so dumb Idk why they didn't do an actual deer-shaped tail.

Honestly, I can't get it on the principle that they would be this sloppy... Either they didn't know what a deer tail looks like (unlikely, and you can definitely look it up) or they didn't care. I feel like it really cheapens it. It seems like it wouldn't be a big deal, right? It's just a tail after all. But I really wouldn't be able to think about anything else while wearing it considering you look at the survivor's back a lot throughout a match. Idk. I hate how sloppy they were with it.

They're good, although I'm interested in seeing Dwight's costume compared to Dwelf. I really like the look of this one, but I also love Dwelf..

Exactly. It's literally just one more example of how they don't care because they know people will spend the money. It's becoming a big issue. Release something sloppy, people will still pay for it. This is what they've learned, and it's all they care about.

To be fair everyone in the trailer looks like Barbie or Lego Friends figures. The models looks very strange and "plasticy" compared to how the characters look in-game.

The cosmetics look great, but imo its not worth blowing 10 dollars for 1 cosmetic. I don't plan on buying cosmetics until they are cheaper than actual dlc's. Even as a dwight main its not even remotely worth especially since dwelf exists and it can be purchased with shards.
