Why some of us want Springtrap in dead by daylight
We ask for him because he fits well for both lores. He will be one of the best selling dlc more then stranger things.
If you say it’s a kids game we ask for him because he fits. A kids thing is something 90% of the players are kids like a Mario character or hello neighbor. And yeah there is still some kids in the franchise but not enough to say it’s full of kids most of the fnaf community has aged now plus kids will be to scared of someone like twins or oni.

The fact that FNAF is a kid's game is a problem that really can't be overcome. Most of the fans it would draw would be kids, and DBD is not really appropriate for them due to the levels of violence.
Whenever a character in FNAF catches you the game just cuts to black rather than showing you what happens. What would springtraps attacks look like? What would his mori look like? These things would be disturbing to children.
DBD qould be wise not to link their violent horror game to a softer horror franchise marketed to younguns. I don't know much about FNAFs creator, but he would be wise not to liscence his iconic children's characters to such an adult franchise.

Okay dude that is crossing a lione, Strangers Things is a lot more popular and well known then Fnaf, even I wouldn't state that, I don't doubt that Fnaf would sell quite well if it came to the game but not as much as Stranger Things did. Also this guy has to be a troll, there's no way, no way anyone would consider that.

There's no denying that Fnaf is very well known, but Stranger Things rivals Fnaf greatly do to it being very popular among pop culture, for it being a show on the biggest streaming service in the world, and the same with Fnaf, the fandom shoved it down people's throats of its existence. But I want to hear why you said what you stated, that Fnaf is more popular than Stranger Things, I just want to hear a simple honest answer

I really don't understand the hate for fanf. I may not like it myself but everyone acts like a fnaf chapter would be the end of the world. From what I understand a couple months ago there was some kind of forum bm about Springtrap being added but is that really a reason to hate the franchise? I would understand hate for it back in like 2016 or 2017 when the community was a toxic cesspool (hey kinda like another game I know) but it has matured a lot since then.

I think the best compromise is that we have some form of clockwork machine killer. Then give it a bear skin.
Also, screw the FNAF lore. Most of the lore was just theory-crafted by the community and the dev just nodded along with some of it. Nobody knows the lore of FNAF. I doubt even the dev knows at this point.

Which is dead wrong by the way, it doesn't even warrant looking at the actual amount of money grossed by season 3 of Stranger Things alone to tell you that you're dead wrong saying that FNAF would sell more. Just because you want it bad doesn't mean it would be the most valuable license added.

Well, the difference between those three are that those two are legends, Springtrap isn't, they both have powers, he doesn't. I tried to get into it and like it, but i just can't.

Thing is the idea came around a time when fresh new ideas of other licenses coming into the game, ever since Silent Hill came into DBD ideas upon ideas were flooded out of Horror games from other franchises, one of them was Springtrap. When the idea was first introduced a lot of people liked the idea, someone even started a petition for it to happen. Tbh I don't think something like this was ever done for a license chapter for DBD, so people tried to spread the word, however people just spammed the hell out of it to the point it became annoying and hated. It makes me really sad to see the franchise i grew to love get this much hate, and yet act in some ways that are childish, for those that are being mature about it deserve this chapter, those who act like ######### don't. Fnaf is now more Young adult oriented then it was a while back, so I like to see that for a change

It's not they hate FNAF. Ppl don't care about it. They just don't think it fits. What they hate was the people constantly asking for it. The optics of the FNAF community itself isn't pretty already. Having them constantly ask for fnaf is not enduring to the FNAF community as a whole.

Dude, looking the posts it seems Stranger Things was a lot more well received, just accept the fact Stranger Things was well more received, I want Springtrap in the game too, but this is not helping this making it worse. FNaf in this game is something I want to see, but pushing and saying false stuff isn't helping. In fact its making me scared that its pushing people away to actually like it. Also how does being a furry have any relation to this, I'm not a furry and yet I like Fnaf. Just get over it, its not like the end of the world.

Okay good, now I will say maybe Fnaf is a little bit more popular but IDK, I personally don't know how big the Stranger Things is, so I can't really say. But what I can say the two (as far as I know) are on equal ground, IDK. When Stranger Things chapter was released in the game however, I knew the demogorgon but I had no clue who the Survivors were. I tried to avoid who they were so I could watch Stranger Things and have no spoilers. But I will say both are a big franchise.
