I tried my very best not to be one of those Survivors/Killers that complain but here it goes lol.

1.WAIT TIMES:

The wait times to get into a match is ridiculous....... then after waiting about two decades I can find a match , soon as im about to get into loading to get into match, my Xbox cuts off lol literally the only game that makes my Xbox shut off and say it's overheating,

2. DC PENALTY:

The dc penalty omg lol yes I know I shouldn't dc okay? I know this but imagine going through a whole match just schooling the killer just for them to have no ed ...... YEP I am going to rage quit especially after everyone already escaped and the killer chased you almost the whole match. Don't even get me started with survivors who play with friends and they bate you or don't save you after you played the proper way, doing gens, saves, etc, anyway no game should have time penalties , not only can you lose business that way but people are just going to go to a different game even the biggest games don't even have time penalties I'd say for dc's just take away a percentage of blood points next match or few matches so people will still want to play.

3.KILLER COMPLAINT:

As far as killer complaints I don't even have any because it's so much easier being killer for me, really just depends on what killer I use , I can get 4k in almost every match with ghost face and bing bong without using No Ed or any gen perks so no complaints as far as that.

In terms of wait times, usually if one side is slow then the other side is fast, so just switch which role you're playing.

The console overheating thing is a serious issue. BHVR really needs to fix how this game performs on console, because the way it is right now is unacceptable.

Th DC penalty exists to discourage the exact behavior you're describing. The devs do not want players disconnecting just because they don't like the way the other side plays, whether that's perks or attitudes or whatever. Considering the devs designed NOED to be the way it is, they're definitely not going to think disconnecting over it is okay. And why would you even do that? It's the end of the match, disconnecting means you lose your Bloodpoints and you give the killer BP for your disconnect, you just throw away the entire match and all you did was give the killer a good laugh.

Anyway, BHVR actually lost players because they didn't have a disconnect penalty for years. People got so tired of players constantly disconnecting for petty reasons that BHVR had no choice but to implement a disconnect penalty. That the disconnect penalty gets progressively worse shows BHVR is obviously willing to lose a few players who frequently disconnect in order to keep the many players who don't disconnect happy.

When Blight's patch came out nearly all Xbox1x consoles including mine insta-overheated by just starting the game, and was unplayable for a week until the next patch "fixed" it. As far as I know it was only the Xbox1x version and not the others, but now I'm not so sure.

You have some valid points but what I'm saying about the time penalty is that it should be a different punishment considering the wait times are already ridiculous.

Which wait times? If it's a long wait time for survivors (which is the case for 99% of the complaints I see about wait times), then removing survivors from the queue with the disconnect penalty could actually make wait times for the other survivors faster.

I think part of the reason it's a time penalty is that in a large number of cases the player is ragequitting, so the devs want that player to take a few minutes to cool down before going into the next match. The problem with the idea of taking away Bloodpoints is that the player already sacrificed their BP from an entire match just to quit out, so just taking away more BP won't necessarily do anything to discourage disconnecting. Losing pips wouldn't discourage it either since the player already de-pips for the disconnect.

I understand what you are saying but it is still my opinion the wait times are long no matter the circumstances, my main complaint is that after waiting long my Xbox overheats and shuts off, did you miss that ? Not mentioning when I want to play with friends or siblings they don't wanna wait as long they suggest switching to a different game lol

Plus the DC timer is not good for new customers because they have other games they love playing and will just switch over. That's not going to keep them wanting to play DBD. Plus I've been in matches where two people dc'ed, one match with 3 gens and me and one other person and we both escaped there's really no excuse for a time penalty, a different form of punishment for dcing is needed. DBD is not a big enough game for that yet.

In my first comment I said "The console overheating thing is a serious issue. BHVR really needs to fix how this game performs on console, because the way it is right now is unacceptable."
