Should Victor have a red stain?
Since Victor can injure survivors and down them, should he have a red stain to help survivors with looping. It looks like guessing at the moment.
Thoughts?

Yes he should because he's moving character. This would definitely stop all the leave Victor at the hook with no consequences I'll just switch back when I get a killer instinct BS

Nah,he's really really loud and i think it's rather easy to keep track of him

It's a complicated subject, but I disagree. When facing Victor, you don't loop him because he's way faster than you are, thus nullifying looping completely. You're better off dropping a pallet or hiding behind walls. Try to crush him ASAP.

I think a better solution to that would simply be to kill Victor if Charlotte hooks a Survivor too close to the idle Victor.
3 -
If he were given the red stain as a regular killer, then I think he should be able to see survivor scratch marks aswell.

This confused me when I first played The Twins. I thought he would naturally see scratch marks, and I keep chasing as if I have a Red Stain. I think this would be good for the killer.

I think giving him red stain would remove a lot of the power of the killer, and I don't think that's needed - you're not going to loop Victor the same as you would any other killer anyway, so it's not really the same type of playstyle. He's also pretty loud and it's relatively easy to judge where he is and if he's in a decent jump range.

how about, you play for a month or so THEN you start making some suggestions?
1 -
The problem is that someone gets down with Victor then the person can hide Victor by the hook they plan to put the Survivor on and by the time I get to the Survivor how am I supposed to know that Victor is hiding somewhere nearby before Charlotte is up my ass

Except he's not that loud...and the range of his lullaby effect is incredibly short considering his speed and lethality.
In the PTB, sound was a lot better with him. In fact, you could work out where he was on a loop by sound alone...but something's changed going to live, so it's not the case.

The only thing I see is super broken on him is the fact that he has free bloodhound, makes tracking injured survivors stupidly easy and honestly, for a character that can move that fast, it's just unfair.

Especially since Killer Instinct distance is crazy. I'm not even unhooking yet before I'm in her terror radius again
1 -
Well he can't see scratch marks, what do you suggest to give victor in compensation for tracking?

I would agree with you if crushing Victor wasn't an option.
With Charlotte and other Killers you miss a swing and all the survivor can do is get distance if Victor misses his pounce he is open to he open a crush.
The easier you make it for survivors to dodge the weaker Victor becomes. Without a red stain Victor is allowed to sneak up a lot more easily also Victor can't see scratch marks so if you break line of Sight and you're not injured it's quite easy to to make him lose you

I'd like to be able to see where his hitbox is seeing as it seems to be worse than the Huntress's hatchets

Lol giving victor a red stain would be the nail in the coffin for this buggy mess of a killer

honestly I think that victor not having a red stain is a fair trade for him not seeing scratch marks. it's easy to loose victor in chase, especially when he misses a jump

I keep forgetting to check: does he show up on spine chill?
0 -
-Spine Chill doesn't work on Victor
-He's much faster than Charlotte
-Pallets crush him
-He can only track blood
-He doesn't trigger a chase
-He can only pounce, no other interactions (except for lockers in the next hotfix)
-Even if he downs a player, he can still be crushed by another player in proximity
-Victor has no Terror Radius, yet emits loud noises
Why would he need a red stain?
1 -
This is exactly how I feel as well.
The fact I can actually approach survivors at all because there is no stain is pretty much the only thing making the twins even somewhat playable for me right now. He can't see scratch marks or anything either.

That can just be sorted out by adjusting the minimum distance Victor is allowed to be by the hook before being allowed to switch to Charlotte, no?

In general he is pretty weak, I think it is fine if he doesn't have a red stain.
0 -
That could be useful
0 -
No. He’s already easily, and extremely punished for just one miss. Charlotte is disproportionately much weaker and already has a red stain.

Taking Insidious makes Victor constantly Undetectable.
0 -
How does that work? Does it render his screeching permanently silent?
0 -
Nope
0 -
Give him this weird terror radius he has while riding, or have it apply while being silent to proc BT, otherwise he's just camping hell with no real counterplay without some big coordination or him messing up.

He doesn't have an aura
