Console progression PS4 --> PS5
Hello!
I had a quick question in regards to Trophy/Achievement Progression. I have played the game a lot on my PS4, but was lucky enough to get a PS5 recently. I downloaded the PS4 version of DbD on my PS5 (note, I did not download the PS5 version with a new trophy list) and was wondering if Trophy/Achievement Progress stays from console to console?
For example, I am working on the "Taking One For The Team" trophy, which requires you to take 250 Protection Hits after unhooking. I unfortunately can't see my progress on PS4, but I assume that whatever protection hits I've taken on PS4 will still be there on my new console since I'm playing the PS4 version. Has anyone popped a trophy that they started on a PS4, but finished on a PS4 version on their PS5?

No anything with regards to trophy progress will not carry over except for the prestige trophies as they will auto unlock but everything else you’ll have to start with scratch. I recommend downloading the ps5 version and just start playing on it as it’s 1000 times better the ps4 version. However there is an issue where some dlcs might not carry over and support is looking into but currently no word from them.

I'm not sure I made total sense it my first post, but I am not talking about PS5 Trophies auto-popping from the PS4 version. I guess it would make more sense to phrase it this way:
If I play on my PS4 and escape 49 times towards the "Made It Out Alive" trophy and then downloaded DbD on my friend's PS4 and escaped one more time, would that trophy pop? i.e. is trophy progress tied to the servers or to individual consoles?

Ah I see in that case yes as it’s tide to your ps4 account and handle on their servers.

All dlcs are working fine on my end on PS5 now Freddy had been re-enabled. It still says you have to purchase it but don't, he is still in your playable killer list just as Quentin is still a playable survivor.
