New chapter, did you get it?
I didn't buy it. It's probably the only chapter I hvnt purchased on release day.
I didn't buy it because the killer just doesn't get my feels going. I have appreciation for the overall concept though. Probably more than with deathslinger, even though i bought that chapter on ps4.

I bought it, but seven dollars is nothing to me and I play the game enough to warrant it. (Even though I'm casual.)
It gives the orange shirt cosmetic to Elodie. This combined with her orange hair and black pants has made me call her the Pumpkin survivor.
This pleases me.

I didn't. Twins are not worth the money or effort to level up. New survivor perks are meh, but I love how high quality she looks compared to Claudette. It's still crazy to me how the devs can just not at all think about what would happen if you jumped into a locker against Victor. Like did that not cross anyones mind at all during development?

I got the twins with my shards and felt the need to change my icon on here lol! I feel like that "friendship ended with mudasir" thing, I haven't had this much fun playing killer in a long time! Also, I like Charlotte's design a lot and the perks are really good so far (rank 17, but I have been facing purple and green all night!) Also that chase music????? I want it to play every time I enter a room

I love that nickname so much lol :) From your user I'm guessing you use Demogorgon and I didn't get him because I haven't watched Stranger Things yet, and also because he seems difficult. I like the twins because first of all, baby on board and I love babies, and secondly... um, I don't know I really like Charlotte's design lol!

God no. Those skins are horrible. Besides, I don't even use those killers, and I unlocked Nurse/Plagues last year. Don't even use them.

I went ahead and grabbed it from the steam store yeah. I've been looking forward to four of the six perks in this dlc since the ptb, and the twins have been fun for me so far. I'm just hoping they fix the bugs and add the Victor locker blocking action soon, and that it is strong and not like 10 seconds or something

Actually, I joined the forums around or after the stranger things chapter but I did play a lot of gorgon and NANCY :P...I started off on ps4 in DEC 2017/JAN 2018 after tossing in the towel with the COD franchise...For December, I will be playing a ton of clown 🤡🎅 because survivors have been naughty in 2020(especially Dwelfs).

I bought the new chapter, but it was more out of habit/completionism’s sake than anything. I like Élodie and The Twins’ characters and design, but I’m just very disappointed in how buggy their perks and powers are. Almost all of the perks have some sort of bug that screws up how they function. The Twins’ power is also super buggy at the moment. I wish they’d have just delayed this patch for another week or two to iron out some of these issues.

I meant what I've said before, I'm never giving BHVR another penny until they follow through on console optimization.
I'll play DBD as long as I continue to enjoy it, but I'm not going to pay them anything more for as long as they are (A) not going to follow through on improving their game for my platform, or (B) incapable of following through on improving their game for my platform.

Because on average you earn 259.2 shards per hour and both characters cost 9k each, meaning you need to play for ~70 hours to get both characters. Even if you work minimum wage, you can make $500 in that time span.
Your time is never free.
To answer OPs question though, i did not buy with money, i used shards, first time i have done that too because i don't want to support the devs with money after this patch until they fix it and issue an apology assuring us it won't happen again.

I'm wanting to play around with some of these perks for both sides so I bought through Steam since I use my shards for BP in the shrine or the occasional cosmetic and I'm an achievement completionist. Also on Steam it's $7 but with cells it's $10 so why a PC player would buy with cells makes no sense to me.

Bought both with shards and don’t regret it. Yeah there are many bugs, but I think/hope most of them get fixed within the next patches.
overall I had fun while using both of them, didn’t run into major game breaking stuff luckily..

i got it the second it released with shards
i own all their OC's except legion and DS but legion looks awful and DS i can boot up a shooter for.
twins core concept is good unlike legion and is an experience i cant get elsewhere and with better quality unlike DS

Got it with the money I had left from getting The New Colossus, but only because I couldn't find anything else to spend it on.
I only care for the DLC for the Adept Twins achievement. Having all the Killer Adepts is fun.
