Devs, the only reason nobody uses custom games is because we can't play them alone.

Custom lobbies are only useful for players who want to play outside of matchmaking.
If we could enter them alone with bots, we could use them to practice.
- Finding pinholes you can shoot/throw through.
- Exploring new maps
- Finding good spots to place beartraps
- Getting footage of specific interactions

I literally said this in the stream... It's common sense. We don't play it because we need someone to play it lmao.

I'd love it if you could press Escape to enter a menu that allows you to add bots, remove them, set perks, set actions, swap between killer and survivor, etc. That would be so cool

This frustrated me a little as well. “Few people use custom games so we don’t want to update them.” Well, maybe custom games are unpopular because they lack a lot of highly requested features?
I don’t want to waste my friends’ time by asking them to idle in a map, or 1v1 me. I’d like to be able to explore maps and practice game mechanics on my own so I can go at my own pace. It would also be nice for comp players to have more control over map settings. Granted they’re a vast minority but it’s good publicity for the game.

I would definitely at the very least play with my friends who want to do Killer vs. Survivors. It won't be ideal since bots would probably be some level of potato, but at least then we could properly play against each other instead of SWF.
Also, I want a place to practice ambushing that isn't the actual live games.

I agree, an actual custom game where you can have admin-like abilities. Example: You can replace and reset pallets, windows, generators etc. Anything that lets you figure out how to play the game and what you can use to your advantage.
