The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

I loathe the huntress.
And that's not to say i think she needs a nerf or anything, her lullaby just digs itself into my mind. i'll keep hearing it in my head while the killer's probably on the other side of the map, leaving me paranoid because i think i hear then i don't then she actually shows up, and i get fecked. I don't know, maybe its just cause it ain't directional or something. Anybody else have this weirdly specific problem with Huntress, possibly dreamworld Freddy?

Yes. It doesn't quite go away after thousands of hours either; it's something mental i guess.

La La La... La La... Laaaaa lu rah lu rah laa laa laa..
It's not on your head it's everywhere you go

Oh yeah, it's the worst. I have that issue too, it's an earworm for sure. When I've been playing a lot of huntress, I can hear it constantly after I turn the game off.

I have this problem with Freddy; he can walk right up to me - he's basically a stealth Killer when I'm in the dream world.
Huntress' hum is more ear wormy than Freddy's lullaby, but I like the hum so I don't really mind.

I feel personally attacked rn.

That moment when you turn of your headphones and you still hear humming

Her hum offers no direction, it muffles the heartbeat at times. Freddy’s is god awful though - I hate it with a passion.

I can hear it right now, and I'm not even playing dbd.
Seriously tho, probably intentional.
Her humming has always been creepy soothing, uncanny valley...
But that laugh she does... it haunts my nightmares.

I might just be a weird person because I actually love her humming, some say it makes her creepy, I disagree, I find her hum very beautiful. Sometimes I will stop what I'm doing in game to just listen to it.

This post as a whole is actually a sign of how well huntress lullaby was made (designed? developed?)

You should, she's a shining example of a killer who rewards the person playing her for being "close enough" with their power. Not actually hitting your model, but a much too big invisible square around you. Even if they shrunk it down to the size of the largest male character and applied it to most of the females, it would make hits look way better. But I guess it's easier to just paste a massive square on people and call it a day, so every time she throws a hatchet at you, it's like a CS:GO player tossing a grenade around a corner.

I believe its a pill or capsule shape, not a square. Also an issue you may experience is with latency.

This has been disproven with kill your friends matches, where hits are tested over objects/near survivors. You can clearly see the massive overextension of the pill or square, whichever. If you need proof because you can't google or youtube some videos, I can provide some. It's not "just latency" as a lot of people will say. This is an actual issue of hitboxes being massively oversized. Latency only contributes so much.

I can't stand her because ping makes her unfair to go against...

Yes I'd love to see the vids, and if possible timestamps but if you can't I don't mind.

I have it stuck in my head a lot! I hear it when I drive, when I walk, when I breathe, when I hum, when I'm trying to sleep but I can't because all I can hear is her humming, and also when I'm grocery shopping. Oh, also the dancing roach song that's like womp womp womp woooomp womp, womp-womp wooomp, skeebadada doo bada, skeebadaboooop

How's this for latency? Look closely.
0 -
That is just the hatchet. Latency is when you run 5 steps and still get hit through the window you vaulted.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that clip before but I can't quite find it myself and though that hit is dirty I believe it lines up with the hitboxes. I wish I had the source for what I had seen but I don't sadly. If anything we can just agree to disagree.

Yea, that hit is pprobably mostly the hitbox and hurtbox's fault; you can blame the weird leaning that DbD characters do for making their pill shaped hitbox not line up very well with their actual model.
On a side note, KYFs aren't immune to lag; they can still have weird hits if one of the people playing has internet issues.

I like her lullaby. They could of have her like a siren skin for the Greek legends showcase. And even change the lullaby.

That hit her because the hitboxes on the hatchet and her actual character lined up.
Not because of latency.
Survivors lean way forward when injured, making them seem way shorter than their hitboxes actually are.
This was the reason a Huntress, back in the day, could hit you over the top of a generator if you were working on it.
