We noticed an issue affecting the amount of Toothy Tortes delivered in the Bloodweb when using the Auto-Bloodweb and Bulk Spending features. This issue is now fixed, but you may need to reboot to see it reflected in-game. We have also slightly increased the number of Toothy Tortes that will appear in the Bloodweb.
We know players encountered different issues when playing the Black Banquet Event, and we wouldn't want you to leave the feast still hungry. We'll be providing 5M Bloodpoints to all players, redeemable in your in-game inbox. Thank you for your patience as we worked on these issues, and we hope to see you in The Fog!

toolboxes, are they worth it?

When you consider the amount of time to get a toolbox out of a chest I no longer think toolboxes are the help they were designed to be. The time toolboxes save on gen repairs compared to how long it takes to retrieve one is sort of a wash or you are actually losing time.

I think it may be time to rethink what toolboxes and other items you get in a game. Broken keys? seriously how is that even still a thing? Maybe they could add the disappointed trombone "Whomp Whomp" sound effect to at least acknowledge you just wasted your time.

Solution: buff toolboxes, remove broken keys, make maps give you a hud display of the map so you can still run while using them. Just some ideas.

Why would they move broken keys? Broken key with things like blood amber is one if the most powerful things you can bring with you

Toolboxes were nerfed because gutting of ruin. Gens go quite fast already without them. I think you are better of bringing key or medkit with you

Opening chests is a gamble. You might get a top-tier item, you might get trash. Is what it is.

I'm cool with removing or buffing broken keys. Toolboxes are fine though. They're meant for sabotaging now. Games went too fast before the toolbox nerf, sorry.

toolboxes were nerfed because they were overpowered, current toolboxes can be overpowered if you bring them in with good addons/perks but old toolboxes only needed to toolbox themselves instead of commitment to them to make them op example

old commodious toolbox had 180 charges, and with addons 140% speed boost, so you could get 180 seconds of gens done in 128.571428571 seconds, which is close to half the teams total repairs on gens done in 2 minutes, and this is one survivor with only and item and no more investment into their build than that

current toolbox max output is 52 charges at 150% speed, its faster by default but you don't get immenseness value without devoting more of your build to it streetwise for 25% more charges, built to last for 50% more ect

Toolboxes get stronger the later you get into the game where generator completion speed matters more the efficiency.

With that perspective any buffs to toolboxes will break the end game as if you make them complete more of a generator or do it faster then they are now you'd just have survivors do the first 3 gens like normal then use toolboxes to gen rush the last 2 before the killer could really do much that game.

Lol buff toolboxes. My man either never lived the dark ages of toolboxes or is completely survivor bias.

I'm gonna choose the former since you don't even know broken keys are actually good with ad ons. Having free wall hack with a disposable key is great. Toolboxes are fine it's just that you have to make a load out for it and that's great instead of the same boring meta perks.
