I love playing as the twins.

I'm on ps4, didn't get new characters until they released, no time spent in ptb.

When I started playing as twins, I absolutely hated it. I was going up against red rank teams that could literally smash me into goo.

I lost so much that I dropped from rank 4 to rank 13.

Then, I started learning them.

They have better map control than any other killer. Victor can be a weapon, or a beacon, or just a place holder. Charlotte is a basic killer, so I use my basic build. (Stbfl, bbq, brutal, oppression)

Oppression is a great perk that I can't wait to use on other killers.

The twins have weaknesses, but really the biggest weakness is just NOT knowing their strengths.

Two things to keep in mind when playing as or against the twins:

1) Like every other killer, you first need to suffer through the learning curve.

2) The twins aren't even done yet.

Hitting survivors through lockers bc devs didn't implement the "Victor holds locker doors shut " mechanic yet.

I'm finally having fun with the twins, and I can't wait for them to be finished.

But truly, is any killer finished?

I'm still practicing with them. Trying to figure out how to aim Victor's pounce. My only game with them (outside of custom games with myself between my Switch and PS4 -- HA! Take that behaviour! You might not have a practice mode, but I own TWO copies of the game so I made my own! Yes... I did buy two copies and you got my money twice. BUT I wanted to move to PS4 anyway cause the framerate is better.) went terribly. Went against some red rank survivors who teabagged me at the exit gates. I didn't get one pounce in. (took me a while to figure out you even had to hit R2 after charging). I even had the addon that lets you see where he's pouncing to, but that confused me more than anything.

    Any tips?

    Tips:

Only pounce when super close and try to time their jukes. You'll go further away if you miss, but they less likely to stomp Victor.

Try to keep charley in mid field. Returning to her is less penalizing.

Victor is a beacon and place holder. Need to keep that gen from being worked on, leave Victor close but hidden. Swap to him when he lights up survivors.

Build charley as an basic attacker. Save the best for last is perfect. Sick Victor on the obsession to keep stacks. Use other basic perks like brutal strength.

You can't leave Victor by occupied hooks. After downing survivor, quickly put Victor on the hook you're about to use, hook survivor, then head mid field. If Victor lights up, switch to him. If not, use charley to pressure gens.

A fun thing I like to try is jumping from high second story windows onto roofs as Victor.

What specifically do you feel is fun as twins?

Or were you being sarcastic? I can never tell.

Rank 4 to rank 13? I...don't believe you. I believe there's 5 pips per rank? You would've had to have depipped in nearly 40 games over the last 4 days with The Twins, and it's quite hard to depip in green and purple ranks unless you're literally going AFK or you DC.

But hey at least you're enjoying the killer now I guess.

Tbh, yeah I went AFK more than I should have, but in my defence it was every game I would get stomped into frustration.

So I would stop trying and just jump around the stage until they finished.

I don't want to play against potatoes, but I can't learn when going up against beasts.

It may also be due to the time of night that I was playing. I find more red rank survivors at night and less so during the day.

Either way I've grown confident enough to stop giving up after being out played. I just wish new/un played killers would start at lower ranks so the learning curve isn't so brutal.

But yeah, you called me out on that one.

I am still working on how to land hooks over ledges and pallets. Lots of players will simply jump over a ledge repeatedly when you're playing as Victor. Sometimes, if they do this I will just switch back to Charlotte and it just confuses them because they think I'm still on Victor.
