Chucky and Tiffany
Question: Was the Twins concept originally intended as an avenue to secure the Child's Play license? Because it seems to me that this would have been a great concept for a Chucky and Tiffany killer, while also dodging the "Victor is not a baby" angst of the theme they wound up using.

You never know, supposedly Legion was initially intended to be Ghost Face but that obviously panned out differently. Who knows other than BHVR.

What I'm trying to say is, the concept and the gameplay mechanics are not the same as the killer's theme or visual identity, and I could easily see this as having begun life as a "How would we get Chucky into our game?" idea that then morphed into its current backwoods siblings theme somewhere along the way. It could have been any number of things -- ventriloquist and dummy, mad scientist and psycho robot, whatever. I'm just curious whether a Child's Play license was ever discussed around this killer.
The killers all certainly have strong visual identities and of course a lot of lore attached to them, but in game design, that sort of stuff usually all gets made up later to fit the mechanics. I could easily see a scenario where someone would have imagined, say, human Tiffany chasing survivors with a knife, and Chucky climbing down off her shoulders to jump on survivors and garrote them.

I feel like this could be the case. None of us will ever know.
All I know is that if they somehow manage to make Chucky and Tiffany playable. This would become the greatest game I have ever played.
I could see either Human Charles and Tiffany carrying their doll versions of themselves. Just like Charlotte and Victor. It could work because even outside their dolls they still killed people.

There's a long history of this with the killers.
- Hillbilly -- Leatherface with the serial numbers filed off.
- Trapper -- arguably Jason Voorhees with the serial numbers filed off.
- Hag -- Blair Witch with the serial numbers filed off.
- Spirit -- Grudge/Ringu-inspired killer with the serial numbers filed off.
- Legion -- Ghostface with the serial numbers filed off.
- Executioner -- wouldn't be surprised if this began life as a Hellraiser DLC pitch.
Not that there's anything wrong with this, since those are nice homages to the things that inspired this game. But it seems to me that Twins fits this pattern, too.

You had me until Pyramid Head. Silent Hill is way more important to BHVR than Hellraiser, especially after what Konami did to the franchise.

I'm pretty sure what's most important to Behaviour is to successfully negotiate strong licenses. I'm not trying to knock Silent Hill though, and it's great that it's in the game! All I was saying is that I could easily see Pyramid Head's power set and "put them in a torture cage" concept being considered for a Hellraiser theme as well.

Hmm, i do think that we will get him, the Blight and the Twins were probably testing water for him, but i don't think the concept of Chucky would be like that, because he already showed the material he has (his power etc). But the only problem would be the hooking, so it could also happen the concept like the Twins have.

Showed the material he has? I am not sure what you mean.

The way he kills, his personality (which can help with perks) his weapon of choice, i already said his power (voodoo), his map etc etc..

Chucky and Tiffany? No.
I do, however, think The Twins are an experiment for a potential Child's Play DLC some time down the line. I don't see it as a Chucky & Tiffany combo though. I'd see it more along the lines of Charles Lee Ray swapping his soul between his body and the Chucky Doll. I could also see them doing a similar yet different killer power to that of The Twins, similar to how Hillbilly and Leatherface have similar yet different powers.

I think the idea of the twins actually started as a mother baby concept, but was changed because of obvious reasons. That may be the reason why they have different genders on conjoined twins.
I do think/hope Victor is also some kind of testing for a smaller killer like Chucky..
