9/10 Elodie's have Calm Spirit on, why?
9/10 Elodies i've encountered have calm spirit on.
What's going on? I'm just wondering, is it her voice or is it the build you have on. it's something i'm encountering EVERY GAME so i just really wanted someone else's opinion and input. I don't understand what's going on.

Maybe it's because a lot of Elodie players simply don't have all the perks unlocked yet and that's one of the best ones they have available? She doesn't seem particularly loud to me but her audio does have a weird....crispness to it.

Yeah, I've noticed that too, almost like she has a cold? Or something. It's just really weird that i'm seeing everyone put on calm spirit with her. You're right, she's new and they could just be leveling her up

I’ve levelled up my Elodie to rank 43 and still haven’t found spine chill in the bloodweb. I don’t play any character without spine chill, but I did play her once to try her out and to earn the Adept trophy. If I was to play her right now I’d have to settle on less than preferred perks.

It's a bug.
My buddies use her and more than half the time you can't hear her scream.

I've noticed this playing with Elodie's too - they get hit or shocked by Doctor and stay totally silent, no Calm Spirit required.

On switch there’s like zero audio mixing so her screams blast at 1000% over everything so if I want to play her I have to use calm spirit or my ears bleed

She has a voice I find more annoying than Steve's which is pretty impressive.

It cancel out scream as well now. So doc,hag and any perks that trigger a scream effect will not notified the killer.

I've played Elodie a ton and not noticed any bugs with regard to her screams.

Some people like myself use it so we don't have to hear her scream. Her screams are so loud and harsh on my ears.

I use it on her because I cannot stand her scream. She's so loud I am surprised my speakers haven't been blown out.

Pretty sure the scream still happens when you get hooked, calm spirit doesn't affect that.

I've seen her while playing her injured just silent like i had Iron Will???Is that what you mean? Prob a bug like all the ones with this release

I think in many cases it only affects other players and not the Elodie player themselves. A friend asked me why I never screamed and I definitely heard the infectious fright screams from my Elodie..

Elodie sounds like her voice lines were recorded in a personal studio, which makes sense considering the circumstances of Covid. However you'd think they'd mix the voice a little, unless it made her into another Ace.

No, Calm Spirit removes all screams.

I don't play as or own her, and I've only noticed it as Survivor with other teammates who are Elodie, never as Killer.

because her hook scream is EXTREMELY loud, i love her but i have to put the volume down every time i get downed💀

Had a friend finally say they couldn't hear my scream lol. Weird. The other friend could, but one consistently did not hear her at all.
Strange it doesn't affect killer perspective.

Aapparently, it does actually - a Doctor player brought it up on the List of bugs 2: Electric Boogaloo thread. Their static blast wouldn't make Elodies audibly scream.
I guess I've just gotten really lucky as Killer and never bumped into it.

Calm Spirit is for not screaming against Clown and Doctor and not scare crows. Iron Will is the perk that lower the pain sounds.
As for now she seems to be buggued having Iron Will as base but it seems to be random and only for the survivor pov and not the killer.

What a weirdly inconsistent bug...maybe it's because things didn't install correctly for some, as we all know well how bad this game is when it comes to stability in its updates. I know multiple people who after every update have to verify integrity of the game files or they get kicked by EAC every time without fail.

Honestly my jake park does that too and i have both calm spirit and iron will on? Is that why?
