Sometimes I’m lazy
When I’m the last survivor a lot of times I don’t want to look for the hatch, so I just wait by the gate control until the killer finds the hatch and closes it. It surprisingly works a lot more often than you would think but the hatch really needs to be on the far side of the map. It’s a strategy I wouldn’t really try against somebody like Hillbilly that can traverse the map in seconds though.

That’s a situation where Wake Up! shines as well. I do this especially if I have „open gate with x“ daily

i like Wake Up! for this specific scenario more, but yeah Adrenaline is also useful for this. Sometimes i combine both of I wanna get the daily done

I thought the wording was off, but adrenaline DOES help in this situation so I thought it might still be related 😉

I mean if the gates are spread out on a large map thats surprisingly effective so I don't blame you.

It also seems like the only smart play left in red rank games where most killers only hook the second to last survivor if they already know where the hatch is. You can often get a hint of that by how far they will walk for that hook. Usually it’ll be as close to the hatch as possible.
