Unfair Survivor BS (who'da thunk, amirite?)

Now, let me start this off by saying that I'm no dummy. The best killers in the world are some of the smartest people you'll ever find. It's no coincidence that killer-ability has been directly linked to player IQ in recent unpublished studies. When you get to be one of the better killers serving today, you develop an almost Herculean will-- a will that allows you to bend the match to any outcome that you choose. The map becomes your canvas, and your weapon, the brush.

I've been using Ghostface exclusively now for the past few months. I feel as though his strengths match my own, as we are both stealthy and misunderstood. On the other hand, he is extremely underpowered-- but I like a challenge.

So there I am, letting all 4 survivors go free (I am a benevolent lord, after all). They're standing in the exit gate, teabagging and sending me messages about how "full of semen/feces compound my underwear must be," which I assume is because of the number of Ruin Hex totems on the map. Yeah, be mad because I want to win every game, big f'n deal. I choose not to engage. However, little do they know that like any resourceful killer, I have NOED equipped. In the sea of survivor-bias that is Dead by Daylight, this is one of the only things keeping the game remotely fair for killers (in a game where it's 4-on-1, it's extremely unfair for a killer to walk away with NO kills or only 1 kill, and depending on the situation, even 2 isn't very fair imo). I wait for one of them to slip up. And one of them does.

A survivor exits the gates and circles me. I swing a few times, chase him half-heartedly, giving him the warning. Then he runs towards a pallet, and I follow. He throws the pallet in my face (expected) and I run to the other side. I'm not sure what he expected, but I reach him just in time to swing as he's crossing the pallet. HOWEVER, my swing goes right through him. One swing was all I needed to take him down, and it just.... goes through his body.

Cheating? Anyone else having this problem? Isn't the hit validation supposed to "favor killers," as I've read a million times from angsty survivors???
