Well perhaps, but luckily my teammates are my friends, so it makes it even funnier. Cuz then we get to meme, they will refuse to heal me, then killer comes back and they sandbag me or insta dc as soon as my feet touch the ground. Either way we are all having fun. We don't play for points all the time, we don't care about rank. Also if it is a random, and they leave me to die idc, it's no different then them leaving end game when I'm not even being camped. It's a video game, I don't take it that deep.

Because I was replying to the original post, which is the topic of kobeing. And that I always try to kobe, gotta get the numbers. My justification is that it's fun, hence why I said "it's exciting"
Had it happened to me in solo lobbies, never get sad about it, I laugh, swear and heal then go back to what I was doing. Like you said it's a small amount of bps, why try? Well if it's so small why would you get upset about it? Just heal them, and maybe tackle a gen together.

There's nothing there about taking the game serious. Most people that try to kobe don't even do it for the points, just for fun, do u know what that is? I understand that it can be a little bit rude, but u guys r going way too far on leaving people on the hook, that just makes u so much worse than most of this toxic community, seriously.

First, I did not even know you get points for trying to unhook yourself or that other survivor loses points after your attempt, second every single person does it and i am pretty sure they arent aware of that as well. The way my friends see that is that if someone is about to save you and you can 4% they'd yell go for it just to have fun. Imagine caring about what 300 bp at best? And even worse letting someone die for whatever amount of bloodpoints? You are disgusting and should play with people who share exact same opinion.

I say more people should try, at least once. It's funny, I don't view this as toxic. I'd be more mad about my teammates leaving me end game cuz then I'm losing at 5k points, or being hooked and someone jumping in hatch next to me. But a kobe, guys, it's not that big of a deal.

To be honest, I'm at the point that watching a "kobe attempter" die while I watch from nearby does make me happy. I then sit on a gen and wait for that little DING of a message/rant message coming in :)

Because I'm not doing it to be toxic don't put words in my mouth cuz I'm not thinking "lol I'mma do this in their face, f**k their effort, f**k their perks" it's something I've done for years, originally for the achievement cuz deliverance didn't exist and slippery meat was useless back then. Most vets don't care cuz it's not that many points and as many have stated you unhook for the survival of your team. By the logic of "screwing someone out of bps" what says your bps are more valuable than mine?

So you want unhook points but not if someone attempts? So instead of STILL getting unhook points, youre going to waste more of your time, and lessen the survival of your team. Let's say they kobe in your face, okay you get heal points, co op points cuz there is probably a gen near by. With your logic you are only punishing yourself on bps in the end

You also don't get Hatch Escape points if the Killer kills you in time, even though you find its location.
You don't get a kill as Killer if you down a Survivor who then crawls out of the exit just in time.
I could go on, but i already feel like i'm being annoying. 😅

But your argument is skewed... You want unhook points, but also DONT want unhook points because they attempted...
Then you say your bps are more important because you're not the one on hook... By that logic shouldn't the hooked survivor get first try and get their bps since they are on hook, if their first attempt fails then BOOM they are yours (just using your argument)
And finally, YOU'VE NEVER EVEN TRIED?!?? You've literally never kobed, and are telling people not too? Maybe if you tried it you'd see why everyone is saying it's fun as their argument, because it's not malicious intent. It's exciting. Like winning the DBD lottery cuz it's ONLY a 4% chance.
