Victor needs a larger hit box.
I’m getting a little pissed at the amount of killer powers lately whereby all a survivor needs to do is zig zag or 360 erratically in order to be untouchable by that power.
It’s getting tiresome trying to either Pounce, Lethal Rush, PoTD, Shoot, Shred, or Purge and it simply never touching a Survivor that does this. What’s most infuriating is that it’s far too easy for survivors to do. In Victor’s case he’s just far too easily punished for one miss. The disparity is absurd. Survivor puts in so little effort to avoid these powers, they could do it blind folded. Whereas the killer has to continually try and track/predict where the survivor is going next whilst trying not to succumb to total vertigo, only to miss anyway, and too bad, you’re now crushed.
I try not to let it stress me due to Victor’s insanely fast respawn, but when up against 4 survivors that do this and can’t be pounced on at all, it’s well... what do you do? It’s already evidenced that sending out Victor becomes useless, so I’m just meant just use only Charlotte? Stand in a corner and wait for the match to be over?

Legion has this issue too, but less so. But yes, this killer is way too difficult and infuriating for how little reward they get

I seriously have a huge amount of matches where I only just miss the survivor and fly past their ears.
It’s infuriating. Survivor zig zags or spins, killer has no power.

I just posted this on another thread, but it definitely applies here too. I, too, have become frustrated with the pounce-miss-crush cycle, so I’ve adopted a new strategy.
“One of the best strategies I’ve found is to go plant Victor in some high-traffic area (like downstairs Saloon), but behind an object where he’s hard to find and kick. Then just hunt with Charlotte and enjoy all that extra tracking info when your chase gets near L’il Vic.
Switch back to him periodically to either relocate him or prevent his time-out.”

Disclaimer: I skipped this DLC so I don't have the Twins to see killer perspective for myself, but in my survivor games Victor's pounce seems kind of generous or at least adequate.
I've seen him catch on a rock at a pallet loop a few times, and from a few times I've been hit, might be a bigger horizontal hitbox than it looks.

At east Victor's sensitivity remains the same so you can actually do flicks with him. His hitbox seems large enough that it's not that much of a problem.
I think it's way way worse with PoTD with this survivors have pretty much full control over whether your power hits or not unless it's in very specific situations. Also with Slinger's shot...if a survivor is zigzagging you might as well not even try to shoot them.
It's generally easier to dodge these attacks than to land them. Although, I think the fact survivors can just run up in your face and disappear is way worse, it honestly gives me some level of motion sickness that they have the camera in such a way that a survivor can just move into you so much. It hurts to look at.

You don't want larger hitbox. You will bump into wall when you shouldn't. In my expirience I already bumping into edges sometimes. I don't want hitbox be larger.
You should probably be more patient when you pounce. It's like huntress. You have to wait survivor juke to calculate your hit.

That’s a good point.
I guess I’m just annoyed at this trend lately of “just zig zag to be almost invincible”.
It’s just borderline offensive that it’s such an easy counter to these powers.

What do you mean you skipped dlc? Isn't it free? o_0 I got both killer and survivor unlocked when I downloaded an update. And I didn't even spend iridescent shards.

It's super hard to keep track of someone running circles around me when I'm controlling Victor. Forget actually hitting them, it's hard enough to not lose them. It doesn't help that his sensitivity is about twice as high as the sensitivity I'm used to. It would be much less frustrating if his sensitivity was actually the sensitivity I set in the game.

Short answer. HELL NO.
It's already so damn big, aim better, be patient, charge your hit. It's so damn big.

Wait? What?! Nope. I paid.
Shh... don’t tell. You are clearly lucky enough to have a beneficial bug.

I’m doing that.
Just like Blight, all they need to do is sidestep or change direction.
Kick.
Cry.

Yeah, he sure does. Getting a longer stun than Nurse for simple using your mediocre power.

Never forget Huntress. Her beach balls are the precise opposite of what the game needs. Every time I play her I, as the killer, get hits connecting several feet away from the survivors. That is what the Devs have been attempting to avoid

While I think the Twins have a lot of issues, the hitbox isn't one of them. If we wanted to make it less lolrandom zigzaggable (which I have found to some extent doesn't work great if Victor just waits to launch for a sec) then shortening the charge time (which would also make it less loopable around very tiny objects, a nice bonus) would help more.

His hitbox is (no pun intended) hit or miss. I lunged at a survivor on the exit gate, they were NOT moving. They were lined up in the center of my screen and I hit the wall literally next to their head. Other times I can miss them entirely but still land a hit. It's almost as bad as Blights rush hitbox (and that is terrible).

On PS4, I’d be simply happy if his pounce could be activated with one button instead of two.
Oh, and a way to actually keep the person with Victor on him from leaving through the gate. Yes it technically does work, but it doesn’t make a difference if the can just lean against it and then crawl out the second you down them anyways.

Honestly that was one of the things that made me dislike some killers, that the high level counterplay from survivors was mash your keyboard like a mad man and hope it works from all the weird looking movement. the problem was exacerbated by dedicated survivors which makes this janky movement look even more janky and more annoying to deal with when using precise hitboxes, its a little bit why I think survivors need some sort of turn limit or something so that these issues would stop

Hallelujah. Someone else that also thinks survivor agility needs to be reduced.

His hotboxes rlly aren't that bad. If it was easy to hit as victor and impossible to dodge as survivor, then Victor would be broken as hell, there would legit be nothing stopping the 150% double demo range lunge gremlin.
Also remember that you have a 6 second cooldown on Victor. That's legit nothing. You kick him and he's back on you before 10 seconds has passed. Being kicked hardly punished you unless you've sent Victor to the other side of the map.

If anything it's too big. I'm unable to go through holes I should be able to go through, bump into things I'm not even near, et cetera.
In all honesty, if you actually want to use pounce as a ranged jumping attack? The massive hitbox hurts Victor more than it helps him. He has no hope of ever competing with someone like Huntress or Slinger with that awfully limiting collision size.

Yes, but if the survivors are easily dodging him all the time, then it doesn’t matter how quickly he respawns. There’s no point using him against those teams.

Hm idk i find im way more likely to get a hit on average than a miss but i guess we all have our own experiences.

No hebalreadh has huntress hitboxes. Just turn on a hotspot if you really need an even bigger help.

Not only that, but 1 mistake kind of screws you over as a Killer anyway. I hate killers that destroy you for messing up/getting dedicated once. Other than that and the too long fatigue, Legion would be perfect.

The thing that I’m coming to hate about Victor is that he is only good 1-1. If you attack somebody that is with somebody he is crushed and the person healed before you can do a thing about it. Plus, there isn’t any way to track where he is when he is attached like you can when he is standing there. That is simply ridiculous. If the Twins are linked then they should remain linked at all times. They need to stop treating Victor as if he is Charlotte’s weapon and treat him like he is one half of a whole.
