Isn't Myers due an Add-on pass as well?
Hi,
In the stream, they said that the Huntress was the only character without the standard 2-4-5-5-4 add ons. However, Mikey has 2-4-5-6-3... Probably aimed at Dev team, but isn't he due a look at as well?
Please don't touch his Pink/Purples, as they are such fun!!! :D

I think Myers needs more than an add-on pass, I think he needs his basekit buffed as well.
I'm sure there will be people who disagree with me, but Evil Within is a less effective version of Blood Fury, and Ghostface is better in the 1v1 because of his on demand stealth, and imo just better stalking mechanic.
But yeah, he could definitely use an Add-On pass.

To be fair, Myers is one of the most balanced killer since release... Is power isn't OP or Weak
He is the most realistic killer

Wraith and Demo yes, however Clown seems like a rework so idk if buff is the correct word

Yea he is due.... But they found that the killers mentioned in the Q&A were more of an issue
Clown: shown to have multiple tonics (maybe hinting at a few addons that change or give him the other tonics)
Huntress: Iri Head stacking with Infantry Belt is not fun
Demo: His addons are just too weak... his best addons are brown (with few others worth mentioning)
Also Pig needs an addon pass (so there're more killers that need to be looked at)

Actually 2 stream ago (the one before the most recent one) he said that Myers' basekit wouldn't be getting changed in the foreseeable future however there's a likely chance of an add-on pass.

I agree Myers is weaker than both Ghostface and Oni. BUT Myers is the only killer who can do the cool stuff he does with his add-ons. His basekit isn't as good but if you made it stronger he would be utterly broken with his add-ons.

No proof of buffs yet? Clown I can't see them buff only change. The others perhaps but we have to wait and see what they do. They might make one thing better on Wraith and take away something else for example.

In this hypothetical base-kit pipe dream I have, his add-ons would be changed in response to the buffs - at least slightly.

He'll probably get an add-on pass in the future, but I think it's not the highest priority rn.

I hope he gets more than an add-on pass. Still a contender for weakest killer in the game thanks to T1 alone.
In other words, let's just scrap T1 and make it exclusive to Scratched Mirror! Also, let's make Scratched Mirror a brown add-on!

The addon pass sounds like a nerf though since they mentioned some of his addons are problematic (probably the tombstone because people dont like getting morid at full health.

I will never agree with this mentality. I don't know what kind of super immersed teams the people who think T1 makes Mikey so weak do face, but I never have trouble finding survivors and getting to tier 2 quickly. I don't think I have ever watched a stream or Youtube video where the player has had trouble with it either. I'm talking strictly red ranks. Then Mikey is on a roll with massive snowball potential.
To the original post of this thread they said on the previous Q&A stream that they may give him an add on pass in the future. But right now they are happy where he is because he is in the top half of performing killers in terms of kill rates, and they said they constantly get positive feedback about him as being a fun killer to play as and against.

Never gone against a good team as Myers? They don't stealth, they just use LoS blockers to lock you in tier 1 for ever, then tier 2, then in tier 3 (if you even bother getting there) you're just a very slightly better m1 killer than can easily be played safely against to negate your entire ppower and any snowball potential because m1 killers aren't very scary for a very good reason.
And before someone tries to tell me that these teams are rare, no they aren't. This is my average Myers trial as both survivor and killer.

Yes I face good teams all the time. There is Myers players all over Youtube in red ranks who face strong teams regularly. There's a couple I can recommend because they have a ton of content if you like. No offense meant to you but no amount of running behind walls, rocks, trees etc is a hindrance to getting stalk off.
The only times I can think of where I was having trouble getting to tier 2 was with a bunch of urban evading Blendettes. But that was ok because they were creeping around not touching gens. No pressure on me.
Unless you're Nurse or Freddy, any killer can be looped into oblivion. This is a weakness for all other killers not just M1 killers. Safe loops and god loops can hurt them all. Its all about timing knowing when to pop tier 3.

I think Myers is pretty balanced. There are a few things I would tweak in his Add-On(s). I'm not going to give the full list here, but these are the most telling ones:
Vanity Mirror:
This one could be fixed simply by starting Myers in Tier-2 and providing its limited Wall Hack as is. This would fix it, plain and simple. You start the game as fast as a normal Killer and have a limited Wall Hack, but you can never get to to Tier-3. I would use the item if it did this, instead of always defaulting to the Scratched Mirror.
Tombstone Piece
I would make this one the Ultra Rare Add-On and leave it as is otherwise.
Judith's Tombstone
I change this one to a Very Rare, and have it only do one thing, i.e. eliminate the Red Stain. *It no longer slows you down, etc.
*All of the Mirror Shards and Shards of Glass are pretty much worthless and not used. They would need to be changed so that another key/button allows you to activate them to see Auras for an increased amount of time (at least a few seconds more) and at a good range. I have HUNDREDS of these things and will never use them as they stand.
