A gentle reminder that Dead Hard has been broken for over a year now.
I'm so sick of being on the ground, exhausted. Or dodging a lunge attack only to magically go down at the end of the killer's animation. How long has this issue been around and the devs do nothing about it? Guess it's just one more drop in the bucket full of bugs this game has become, but given how prevalent this perk is I would imagine it should have taken some kind of priority over other things considering how much BHVR loves their "data". Now that the Twins are out I guess we just have to live with flipping a coin every time we use this perk for the foreseeable future...but hey let's give the Clown party bottles that's what the game needs! Priorities straight everyone!

I think the bug has been around since Dedicated Servers became a thing? Dedicated Servers broke a lot of stuff, much of which they've been unable to fix so far.

Dead hard has been broken since the introduction of dedicated servers,because the way they coded dead hard was to work with a p2p connection not dedicated servers.
They are currently reworking the code of dead hard to make it useable with servers.
It will take a lot of time though.I'm guessing something like 6 months or so

If only that was the only bug that's been sticking around that long.
They spent months if not a year setting up ded servers, it's questionable if they even CAN fix them, imo.

I've out-lunged Dead Hards before especially when I'm using PWFY. You listed that as one of the reasons Dead Hard is bugged, but that behavior was never intended to not exist.

Where ya pulling that out of? Last time I checked, dedicated servers didn’t just come out. “6 months” 😂

Latency is bound to be a problem when you have dedicated servers. The only way to fix that and make it less of a problem is off they added server regions so you only played with people from your region. (West US, East US, etc). A lot of the problems with deadhard are latency based. Because of that it is NEVER reliable to dodge hits. Especially against good killers. You use it for distance. That's pretty much it. If you die after using deadhard and are exhausted it's your fault for putting yourself out of position making the mistake.
Now the server thing I mentioned earlier would be difficult to implement given the current status of the player base. Queue time would increase dramatically way worse than they are now. Because right now you are searching for all online players in matchmaking. Then you connect to the killers regional dedicated server. If we were to change this it would decrease the amount of players available and then increase queue times.

On the note for the party bottles it is currently unclear if the bug with them is that the description is bugged to show a unimplemented joke add on description or if it just does not work.
