So was Legion fixed?
Just wondering I read the update they gave Legion back his fov increase in frenzy. But did they give back the speed and lunge?

No. It's not under known issues either.
Hopefully it's not like hoarder where it's a bug but suddenly labeled as "Content change" instead.

Was Legion fixed?

I believe that the speed was never the issue - he was actually the same speed as before but the FOV caused it to look much slower, so there looked like there was no speed increase during Frenzy

Sorry but i'm 99% sure there was a speed decrease. A pure visual illusion would have been pointed out by Legion mains very fast.

That would be fascinating if true.

This. For people who play Legion regularly, it would be pretty hard to miss a reduction of 15% move speed, even through a visual bug.

Watching Otz's stream and he's playing Legion right now. There's definitely no speed increase.
Here's a timestamp if you want to see it yourself

Ah well yes of course why give him power to "chain" attacks if he cant catch up to anyone anyways.

He is significantly slower. He does not lunge as far, nor as fast when holding m1 for a lunge while frenzying. His recovery after hitting a survivor in frenzy (quick retracting of blade) is now about 0.85 - 1.0s instead of 0.40 - 0.50s. To answer OP: He is still in a very bad spot. FOV had nothing to do with it. Sad part is this probably will not get recognized until next week, and BHVR takes like, 3 weeks off for the holidays, so we probably won't see a fix until January 14th-ish.

This is the laziest response I've ever seen. No wonder why stuff never gets fixed.

So it's officially confirmed, Legion's Frenzy speed is a nerf not a bug.
2 -
Yeah, I wondered that myself when I read the release notes as I didn't think it was an FOV issue. Sounds like Legion is still in the toilet...sigh

Even this says it should move at an increased rate while in Frenzy.

I know they move at an increased speed in Frenzy - they moves at 5.2m/s, I never disagreed with that. I'm saying I've seen no evidence that their speed is not that currently, I've even tested it myself by running in a straight line with and without frenzy and timing it and it's definitely faster in Frenzy.
The team investigated Legion prior to the hotfix and found the Frenzy speed not to be an issue only the FOV which was fixed in this update. If people have evidence that this isn't the case, that's a different thing, but as yet I've seen no evidence and am unable to replicate it myself.

it is clear to everyone Legion's speed is not fixed. Otz said so as well, tested it on stream and it is the same. The dude got 50 wins in a row on Legion, thing him and raging ryuga would both know if Legion was bugged. Can a DEV actually address this issue? No offence.

@h0lden I can only say what I've been told and what I've been able to replicate myself - which is why I asked if any of you are able to replicate it and provide proof as our tests all show they are running at their correct speed of 5.2m/s whilst in frenzy.

I just tested it here, my results:
I managed to use the same camera angles and position to test this out.
With normal speed, I keep going forward for 9 seconds, and then stopped. I was here:
Then using Frenzy, I was here:
I've tested this multiple times just to be sure I was correct.
So in 9 seconds, I walked (4.6 x 9) = 37,8 meters.
In 9 seconds WITH frenzy, I walked (? X 9) = 42,8 meters (37 + I guess 4-5 meter based on the distance of the original position)
So in resume, I managed to walk with frenzy 43 meters compared to the normal speed with 37 meters.
Legion is supposed to walk 5.2 in Frenzy, (5.2 X 9) = 46.8 meters, almost 47 meters, a difference of ~5 meters.

I mean shouldn't that be the devs or on the team to prove that Legion speed is fixed? I am not saying it could not just be a placebo effect, I am just saying it should not be the players job to prove this. You would need to record Legion's point of view and get a friend to a custom game to get a third person point of view and record it and then have them run next to each other. A lot of work.

can't believe i have to register for this
i like legion but they are unplayable right now
the bug was first reported as legion losing their move speed after striking the first survivor during frenzy. did anyone on the team or did you test the bug under _those_ circumstances

If your team is using an internal build to test it and lets just say you use a compiler to finish it for a release have you guys tried testing the compiled(aka public) version instead of the internal version?
Aka: If your using a compiler have you tried testing if the compiler is causing the issue?

@Warcrafter4 I don't know what they use to test with, I know they have various builds - and one of them is the live builds and using that it showed Legion as being 5.2m/s. That's why I can't agree he's bugged and have requested proof from those who've said he is because we have been unable to replicate that.

This person just provided proof. I mean included the math and pictures and a explanation. Now I am asking the same evidence. Because maybe it does not happen every game, but it is clear people do experience it.

yep, just gonna ignore everything that's been posted. classy
