Infectious Fright on Huntress
Currently I have these perks on Huntress: BBQ, Bitter Murmur, Hex: Huntress Lullaby, Sloppy Butcher (to be replaced by Nurses when it appears in the web)
What are the thoughts on replacing Bitter Murmur or Hex: HL with Infectious Fright? It seems like it might be useful for preventing flash light saves, as I'll immediately be aware of any survivors skulking in the vicinity when I down someone. I do find BM and H:HL are pretty useful though so not sure on switching them out.

Switching Bitter Murmur for infectious could be doable. As long as you can get a shot off on whoever you see. (Depends on your personal skill).

Keep the bitter murmur or switch it for bbq or whispers if you want. Infectious fright is not a good info perk on huntress

infectious only has a limited range due to huntresses low terror radius size, I reccomend a different tracking perk isntead, like whispers or spies from the shadows

By shot I guess you mean M1 or a hatchet, yeah I do tend to down people quite often, I just had this idea after one game I lost when I got flashlight blocked about 2-3 times trying to hook someone, I believe Infectious would totally counter that as I'd be able to down, scare off, or at least be aware of the incoming flashlight and angle (e.g. look at a wall when picking up)
So I do have BBQ and Bitter Murmur on right now, I was considering swapping Bitter out for IF but obviously keeping BBQ. Yeah I don't have Whispers yet on the Huntress, but that would definitely be a consideration for the slot when I get it.
+1, yeah I do like Whispers, use it on most other killers, it would take the bitter murmur spot I think if I had it on Huntress

Infectious Fright is one good on Huntress if you run Monitor and Abuse. Otherwise your 20m terror radius ain't gonna scare nobody

You could toss on Lightborn. I just don't like Bitter Murmur because you're planning for failure instead of success. Survivors aren't always going to finish every gen every game.

I suggest not using IF on huntress, if you want to practice more of her use what I use or something similar.
Iron maiden, bitter murmur, bbq and whispers/nurse's calling.
IF on huntress sound good on paper but it's not worth it, you either see the other survivor or not because of her low TR.

Whispers on huntress is abolute must have. You have 40 meters lullaby. It means survivors always prepared to hide from you early. So you often will seek for survivors. And whispers help to not waste your time looking for survivors in places where they don't hide.

I speak from experience but her Hum is also her "Terror Radius" since it also procs Borrowed Time.
I used Infectious many times on Huntress and it proc'ed many times.
But....I also have my doubts.

Sloppy butcher is another bad choiсe. Huntress doesn't benefit from m1 perks like sloppy butcher, stbfl, noed, franklins, surge, etc. Because you will often use your hatchets even if you in range of meelee attack. Hatchets have faster recover speed, so after throwing a hatchet you are instantly ready to make another hit. Plus huntress is slow killer so it's a bad idea to chase survivors for meelee attack.
I used to play with Bitter murmur. It's good but situational. When gen popped, you often busy with something else so you often have no time to this auras. Plus this ######### bubble from gen covers auras for 2-3 valuable seconds. I think this perk should replace gen bubbles with something less annoying. Pink gen aura for example.
Another great perk is I'm all ears. But sometimes you hit injured survivor while he vault and it procs on his slugged body. If cooldown was at most 20 seconds I would replace discordance for this perk.
My build is BBQ, Nurses calling, Discordance, Whispers. It's a 4 detection perks. If you manage to not miss hatcets often, you will not need slow down perks. Can't say I don't miss hatchets. I miss and I lose. But I enjoy playing huntress no matter if I win or lose.

infectious fright isnt very good on low terror radius killers. huntress is only like 20m compared to the normal of 32m
if you have access to plague's perks i would recommend corrupt as she is a slower killer and takes time to pressure the whole map

Huntress'Lullaby and bitter murmur are pretty bad perks that I'd replace with something like corrupt, whispers, Nurse's calling, agitation, pop, basically anything that isn't those two perks.
Some people have recommended iron maiden. I'd suggest not running it. Ever. It's a noob-bait perk that is a waste of a slot. You're using a perk slot to make an already fast animation slightly faster. It's not worth it at all. If you wanted that effect she has add-ons that make her reload faster, and she's the least addon-dependent killer in the game so you'll always have some spare.
As for infectious fright, it's not too bad, but you'd need to pair it with monitor to get any use out of it because of her low TR

I assume you don't have corrupted yet? It's likely to be 2nd best huntress perk after bbq, with whispers being a close third.
Nurses is good, murmur is mainly good for practice (as well as iron maiden), bloodwarden works more often than not, pgtw or ruin/undying are also used by some players.

Lullaby is horrible, switch it out for something else.
