Unpopular Stealth Take

I really like the stealth side of a survivor. I know most people see it as boring, but l like it when a killer comes and I hide just for them to pass by and barely not see me. It causes me to be on the edge of my seat. I'm not much of a chaser type of guy, I don't like running around a loop a hundred times, getting hit once, and then moving on to the next loop. I feel like I'm the opposite of most of the people here, which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Doctors and legion though... Man.

I play stealthy. It’s my preferred way to play survivor.

The killer is designed to win the chase.

As much, Killer players desire for survivors to reveal themselves openly so a chase is initiated, then... downed & hooked survivor.

While different scenarios within each match do call for different styles of gameplay...

why would a survivor want to give the killer, who is trying to kill them, exactly, easily what it is they want

So I say, play as stealthily as you please

I feel ya. That's how I play survivor, too.

Not to the point I'll ignore gens, or rescues mind you, though I feel rescues are often better handled by others.

Something about going almost an entire match, if not an entire match having never been seen by the killer is a double edged sword in that it feels great, but it puts more pressure on the others.

I don't do great in chases, loops, mind games, etc. so once the killer gets a taste for me, I usually go down quick. Especially if I don't run a solid run and hide build.

Too much of anything is bad. You should know when to stealth and know when it's time to start running instead of crouching around when the killer is at the other end of the map. That's what a good survivor is, no such thing as "Well I'm a stealth/Looper player" adjust accordingly.
