Twins being to OP spine chill does not work
Iv noticed with the twins that once they send the little one out victor as they call him that the spine chill does not work which i think is well wrong they say he's not classed as a killer but yet can take you to the ground like a killer does this should be changed and give the players a fair chance at playing the game.

yea but they don't follow you around the map unlike victor once the huntress throws the axe its a stright line and goes once a trap is layed down it don't move so why the hell should a 2nd char not be classed as a killer if it follows u all over and also can down you???
3 -
my point is the spine chill should work when he is close to give a fair game
0 -
If anything spine chill needs a nerf, coming from someone who uses it in my build.
11 -
Fair Game? So you can't just stare at the gen and wait for your spine chill to go offf on just one of what 23/24 killers in the game. You will actually have to look around and pay attention like a normal person.
16 -
look around u heard ya self its that small it cant be seen in the grass till its too damn late
0 -
No point in having Spine Chill against him because his screaming is directional and easily noticable
7 -
He's incredibly small and his shriek radius is so small he's already basically touching you before you're aware he's anywhere near you unless it's an incredibly open map.
1 -
thank you least you see logic of this. the ones who wont is the ones who use killer all the time so they will see it as an easy win for them all the time cos all they have to do is keep sending it out at you and you have no chance to do a gen or anything else so the surv's get screwed over.

I'm all for it. Spine Chill should definetely work on Victor, but Victor would now inflict a Basic Attack, see scratch marks and can hook survivors. Done
7 -
Ah yes, lets give one of the weakest killers in the game a nerf that completely disables a part of their power (Victor's stealth). Stop complaining and learn how to actually counter Victor instead of relying on perks.
6 -
It's for consistency reasons. No killer perks affect Victor, it wouldn't be fair if Survivor perks affected him. If they made it so only Survivor perks affect him, it'd be a nerf to an already average killer. So they'd probably make it so killer perks now affected Victor too.
Do you really want a Victor that can instadown people? Or can work with PWYF and move faster than Sprint Burst?
1 -
Really? This has to be bait.
3 -
Unfortunately it's not.

Nothing about the twins is an easy win. GIT GUD. Why do you think there are so many out there using them to camp, slug, tunnel there way out of everything instead of learning to be more efficient with them both. They need to take there losses and learn better tactics. Camp, tunnel, slug should never HAVE to be a tactic to win.

Spine chill isnt good anyways. Usually only pussies run it XD

cries in wraith, pig, ghostface, myers, deathslinger, spirit, and tinkerer.

Can you blind or drop pallet on Victor? Also Victor can hit you while you are in a locker.
For a little balance I would like to see Victor be stunned after he misses a jump attack. As is now he is a little OP he can just jump and attack until the crazy hit boxes register a hit. If he can't be stunned by pallets or flashlights I would like to see this changed.
0 -
- Yes a pallet will crush victor
- Flashlights do blind Victor
- Victor cannot hit you while you are in a locker anymore, that was a bug

I would agree, but given how it works now it seems silly to exclude Victor. Like, it works on killers who are straight up invisible. Why doesn't it work on this loud little gremlin?
Seems strange to name a killer "The Twins" if only one twin is actually a killer. I'm sure him being considered a power is exactly why he doesn't show up on Spine Chill, but still, it seems like very strange choice given that he is player controllable and can down people.
1 -
What I'm hearing you say is that Victor is OP because he negates your Spine Chill, and you can't survive without Spine Chill.
What this tells me is that the problem is not Victor but your over-reliance on Spine Chill. This makes me guess that any time your Spine Chill lights up for a fraction of a second you let go of your gen and hide.
This is not the way.

no i dont run soon as it flickers but it would be nice to have it working seam as it works for other stealth killers i know victor is not stealth but he may as well be by time hes on the player its too late to do anything.
1 -
Yeah, that's a fair concern as well. And I suppose then you'd have to consider giving him a proper terror radius and things too.
1 -
Nah. Im a survivor main and spine chill shouldnt work on victor. If you rely on spine chill so much that you're unaware of Victor until he's on top of you, you need more awareness or a better headset.
There's a global warning he's been released, he can't see scratch marks, and you can hear him coming.

You can stun (destroy) victor by dropping pallets on him and hitting him with head on. If Victor hits an object he suffers a longer recovery time.
1 -
Bruh in a lot of places that's the only thing survivors can do is dodge and zig-zag what do you expect and also I was playing against a huntress on xbox and she was really good she hit everything and aimed really good I think with practice you can become way better. Survivors are not the problem and killers aren't either practice goes a long way.

Use your eyes and ears and you don't need Spine Chill.

Spine chill is active on Charlotte when victor is running around.
Was kinda funny, got an extra 6% while doing a gen.
1 -
Tbf, he cannot use perks, and his attack do not count as basic attacks. Also, he can be destroyed by a survivor for missing a hit. And if you're downed and Charlotte is far, you have a fair chance at getting up again. Are they really overpowered?
1 -
Twins being to op..
I stopped reading right there.
2 -
I think it's fine that Spine Chill doesn't work with Victor. You can hear him coming easily, unlike Meyers or Ghost Face who will instadown you as a result.

It's akin to premonition, but also massively different in trade-offs to the point no one really uses premonition AFAIK.
Premonition has that greater information value in telling you the direction of the killer and with an audio cue, though its hefty 30 second cooldown on accidental reads/false positives basically (the equivalent to common spine-chill flickers) mean you've never got it around when you actually could use the thing in my experience. It's always the inferior choice over the constantly active, but directionless spine-chill, with its added bonus of speed/skill-checks to hit as the sweet, sweet cherry on top.
I'm kinda in the camp that Spine Chill is OP too.... as someone who relentlessly uses it, and loves the ######### out of it.... but I agree its hard to realistically shave off some value without effectively ruining the perk and making it premonition levels of meh.
Any sort of cooldown, even like 5 seconds, seemingly breaks the perk now where it's basically flashes on and off at random that tell you about as much as the terror radius does already.
Though I suppose they could lower the range from 36 to 24 meters or something, where it's still very valuable (especially in mindgames), but also significantly less time to skedaddle before the killer arrives, so there's a higher risk factor with that call to respond immediately and how much time you wait to confirm a real approach.
1 -
That's the problem, and the same problem with many other perks when balancing them. How do you change it without making it too weak/strong?
For me, the best idea I can think of is that it doesn't activate if the killer has the undetectable status effect or you have the oblivious status effect.

Honestly if ooo and spine chill worked against the twins
Clown woudnt get played anymore all the masochists would hop to playing twins instead.

As long as Victor doesn't get to benefit from Killer perks, I see no reason why Survivors would get to benefit from Spine Chill.
Am survivor main who frequently runs Spine Chill.
1 -
I'll gladly trade Victor getting detected by Spine Chill for Victor being able to use perks.
0 -
Simple.
Give stealth killers immunity to detection perks while in their powers.
Myers used to have it, so it's entirely possible.
1 -
Well, you already can move faster than Sprint Burst with add-ons, also PWYF is unique to the Twins, Charlotte doesn't lose or gains stacks when attacking with Victor.
0 -
also they need to add a 3rd exit to the game cos these twins can camp at both exits after the hatch is closed and stop you from escaping so really they can take the game hostage or add a cool down between the twins like 15 seconds or so that way they cant keep jumping back and forth in the space of a second to see if someone is at one of the 2 gates.
0 -
Exactly. The word today is VERSATILITY.
0 -
None of those are unnecessary. If vicktor is at one gate crouch toward him (if he's not a active) kick him, if charlotte is inactive start working on opening the gate.
0 -
Why not?
Knock Out wouldn't do anything regardless since Pounce isn't a basic attack, and Victor with Nurse's sounds hilarious.
