since when can trapper not trap the gates?

is this a bug? is it only on the new maps?is this intentional?
90% trapper's strength was from solid end game plays involving increasing gate time and snowballing. now his early game and end game is trash. he was among the 3 weakest in nearly every way and the nerfed him?
when did this happen? do you guys support this?

I never saw this happen but is nobody gonna talk about the fact that you cant even trap the basement on the new autohaven map?

Last time I read about this issue, it involved both trapper and hag and was map-specific (for updated maps). Thus it was considered to be a bug.
However, if you can't place gate traps on other maps, it means something is extremely wrong.
