Should overcharge be base kit
Ok now this may sound confusing but let me explain you kick a gen can't find that 1 survivor or you do find them and they tap it mid chase they get a difficult skill check but if you get off the gen it explodes like normal skill check and it continues to regress until a survivor stays on the gen long enough to hit the skill check this eliminates the tapping a gen mid chase
And the change to over charge could be if a survivor had been on a gen for 25 or 30s total they get the tremendous difficult skill check and it regress an extra 5%

No. Overcharge works most of the time only against bad survivors. They lose most of the time anyway. The game shouldnt be harder for them, while it has no real impact on good survivor.

It’d just be like old Ruin. Makes the game awful for new players and does very little at high ranks

How you have to take your time to kick the gen you would know it's a thing because everyone would have it this is to stop tapping a gen mid chase

I could see an instant regular skill check after a gen kick making sense and be fair. Thus requiring the survivor to stay on it for a couple secs to stop it regressing and not just one frame tapping it but not anything more.

Fair maybe it is a bit much for a difficult skillcheck

The only buff kicking needs to is take 1% or 2% off a gens progression off from a kick. This way kicking isn't a complete waste of time 90% of the time.

Huh? Kicking a gen isnt a waste of time though. Kicking it makes it start regressing.

The regression rate is very slow and survivors can simply tap the gen to stop the regression. Unless you know that survivors are not going to come and repair the gen for a while you are better off not kicking it.

Disagree. The only time you shouldnt kick it is when you're actively in a chase. Even then i usually still do.
You get points for kicking it too. There's no reason not to. Slow regression or not, its still regression. Not kicking it is just helping survivors and hurting yourself

But it regresses 1/4 of a time slower than 1 player and the only real time tapping a gen hurts is when they have pop and touch go down

I'm fine with making the argument that it should regress faster. But it isn't a waste of time. I've booted gens plenty of times where it had dropped back to nothing because no one got back on it.
Tbh I think the bigger issue is gen tapping. There should be a short window with a skill check that survivors need to get through to stop the regression. This would counter the one frame tapping mid chase that nullifies the boot.

No, when 3 gens are close can be problematic

It takes 2 seconds to start regression base kicks dont take any progress off. It takes a survivor 1 tap to stop said regression. Your taking 2 seconds to do pretty much nothing especially when you consider 10 seconds of progress takes 40 seconds of regression.

Uhh that what's this says

I agree with others in that Overcharge basekit would be too strong for noobs. However, survivors only having to touch a gen for 1 single frame to undo multiple seconds for a killer? Not balanced and needs to change.
Maybe a pseudo Overcharge? If you tap a gen you get the same skillcheck as usual but if you fail it it just keeps the gen regressing without any additional progress loss so noobs aren't destroyed by it but SWF can't abuse it either.
