Any news on the 'early game collapse' thing?
I heard of this a while ago and i thought we'd have more news by now. I'd say the game needs it, gens go way too fast and survivors are getting too comfortable with the confidence of winning. I just think the killers should have more of an edge.
The game goes too fast in some cases and killers need more time.

Nope, they ignored questions about it in the last QnA, despite those being the most highly rated questions.

Nah. I had a question about it for the QnA, and I believe it was number two in all of the questions in terms of upvotes.
They didn't answer it, which leads me to believe it's nowhere near ready yet.
Or, just like Elden Ring, it doesn't exist.

Didn't the devs say they don't hand pick questions, and instead go off of votes?
If so this outright proves they lied to us.

I know they do often read the most heavily upvoted, but I don't know if they ever said they don't handpick questions. I'm pretty sure there was a question about OoO that was pretty highly upvoted too...

Someone from BHVR did say exactly that in another thread on this forum. I think it may have been mandytalk. Not sure how much they count as actually speaking for bvhr, though.

You expected anything else from a question involving something that was promised to would help killers?
I mean husks were promised a long time ago as a killer QoL change and never happen.
I fully expect their "Early game collapse" to have met the same fate.

I never understood, why they would choose questions, they can´t answer. It would be different, if the questions came from the chat during a live stream. But those questions are chosen and were cleared before the stream even starts.
We choose the questions that have the most upvotes. We made this change after the feedback we received on these forums about only answering certain questions and not the ones that the Community wanted answered. We make very clear that some things can't be discussed, such as upcoming changes/content etc...but then when we don't pick those questions, we're accused of "cherry picking" - that's why we made the decision to use the questions with the most upvotes

What we really need is a middle game collapse.
Just collapsing all game every game.
Edit: Actually I made this as a meme post but thinking more on it, it would actually be kinda cool if like every 2 minutes the Entity started creaking or something and the map and gameplay conditions were altered in a way.

It's cancelled. They couldn't say it's cancelled during the Q&A, because that would have caused a large number of complaints. "It's still being worked on." takes no time at all to say, so if it was actually still in development they would have said that, but they didn't.

I don't think a mechanic should exist to nerf survivors even more and allow killers to watch Netflix when the game starts. They should feel the urgency to find survivors.
