why would you rework beloved by the whole community autoheavens realm in to some wierd muddy location?

it was so plesant and fun to play , it had such good colors that it was relaxing for my eyes

were those maps approved by community or something like that? I cant belive anybody might like it

i also cant see anything there, it was written in the first post , but i deleted it becuz looked like complains about losing/winning

previously i could lose people during a chasing/ after hitting them in such map as yamaoka or rotten fields, but now in autoheavens i lose people in an empty field i cant even see where they run , there are no grass or many walls but anyway im struggling

The rework is fine, what i dislike is the fact that there are a lot of dead zones

The map feels like its sparse with objects dropped in the middle.

The colour feels drab. The colour doesn't create a mood of spooky or scarey, more like a collective 'meh'.

Ehh visibility isn't really a problem for me on the new maps if i have to say.

Something does feel a bit off when you play on Autohaven over and over again i'll give you but it's still very aesthetially pleasing regardless.

Auto haven is, by far, the worst rework they've done. I was fine with old Autohaven and thought it looked cute enough. I miss the old trees. New auto haven feels very flat and empty- it fits more with the junkyard aesthetic (used to feel like you were on dirt, grass, and other vegetation, but now you're definitely on dirt, concrete, and junk).

Old Autohaven was nice. I consider new Auto Haven to be the ugliest map in the game (besides the Swamp maps. If the swamp maps get reworked into something beautiful I will buy $30 worth of auric cells right there on the spot LMAO)

They're too dark. Especially on console as I don't think we have nearly the customization options pc does.

But I do concur. I lost people mid chase due to no visibility. No mind gaming, fairly open terrain. There just isn't enough light.

The only big issue with AutoHaven is that now the map is a dead zone, Pallet City (Blood Lodge) has nothing now

Visibility is so awful on it, I can't determine if it's the color or lighting or both. Scratch marks are so incredibly hard to see on both. Definitely prefer the old ones.

too bright, darkening it would make it look better, help stealth, and could possibly make the game run smoother

I see a lot of people complaining the autohaven map has a bad visibily, but I don't understand, is the community blind or something? I see clearly in that map, just change your brightness settings?

According to me, past autohaven was horrible, the worst map that didn't feel like a horror game.

Maybe just buy glasses would fix this issue people...

I like new Autohaven, other players are starting to figure it out too.

BHVR already acknowledged that Dead Zones on the updated maps are an issue being addressed, So we really shouldn't keep complaining about an issue BHVR is working on.

TBH I can't wait for the algorithm (to mitigate too many Dead Zones, etc) to go live. Some map spawns have been too blessed to either Killer/Survivor and it'll be nice to get more even ground from Autohaven again.

I think that some Autoheaven maps are quite dark in some areas. Sometimes I have problems seeing Survivors at all (not only Blendettes!) or Killers like GF, Legion or Freddy blend perfectly, especially if they wear darker clothing. The part of the map where the light comes from is OK though

I agree with this. I’m actually shocked that they haven’t been fixed yet. It’s unfair that console players are forced to play on these maps and struggle to see, but PC players are having no issues with the brightness.

  • I'm a PC player, I only have issues with autohaven. Its definitely bad on PC too. I have an AMD card if that helps.

That’s good to know, as I was starting to believe it was only an issue effecting console players lol. I honestly thought it was a bug that would have been fixed but the fact it’s still like this is alarming. I was going crazy thinking it was only me suffering. 🤣
