Cross your heart, have you ever gotten accused of hacking because someone didn't know perks?

Has this ever happened to you? I hear it fairly commonly and it has happened to me, so I wonder if it's as common an occurrence as it seems.
Have you ever been accused of hacking because someone didn't know/understand how perks like Small Game or Bitter Murmur work, or how some addons can increase movement speed, etc?

I had a Huntress that didn't know Soulguard lets you pick yourself up over and over if she has a hex then accused me of hacking

Only once, and it was very early.
People didn't generally know yet that Devour Hope became a thing, claiming i used hacks to kill.
It's funny: They checked my gear for Moris, but couldn't move their mouse 100 more pixels to read my Perk.
It's way more common for people to think i hack my Terror Radius with "The Ghost" - Soot, or "The Beast" - Soot if i'm being meme-y.

It's the best compliment you can get. I've occasionally got 'there's no way you could have known where I was' in post game chat.

I've never had it happen because I don't play Myers enough, but I can very easily see it happening with his Scratched Mirror add-on; let's you see Survivor auras within I THINK 32 meter radius. If you don't know they're playing it, it's easy to assume the Killer is hacking to know your exact position.

Yes, someone accused me of hacking cause I knew where they were at all times cause I was playing legion. They didn't know what her power was lol.

I got accused for using BBQ. I got reported for exposing someone with Ghostface. Others dont know that you can see survivor with legions frenzy.
All purple or red rank players.

Someone wanted to know how I found them crouching behind a random rock with no aura perks. I was Legion and had recently stabbed someone else with Frenzy... yeah.

I remember someone reporting me because they claimed I couldn't have seen them on BBQ when they entered the locker too late.

had people accuse me that i was hacking because my “hits looked funny” when playing Huntress (her hatchet hits always look bad)
also had a meg accuse me of hacking because i downed her in the exit gate since i saw her healing with Nurses calling... idek

Yes. A few times.
One game I was Nurse and the survivor's accused me of hacking because I was blinking right on top of them. It was as if I could see them through walls. In fact I was able to see them through walls because I was running Nurse's Calling and they were healing.
The best was a survivor who actually admitted they were mistaken and was cool about it. I was playing as trapper on Thompson's. The one with the barn in the corner and the cow tree in the middle. 2 people were dead and 2 gens left. I was running Whispers and I was at the shack. Whispers was going off. The gen near that area was already complete. I think neither survivor was doing gens at this point. I think they were hoping one would get caught so they could find the hatch. I check all around the shack, nothing. I check the lockers inside the shack and nothing. I go downstairs to check every corner. Nothing and Whispers is still going off. I check 3 out of 4 lockers and nothing. On the final locker, there he was. Then in the end game chat he asked how did I know he was there. I explained how Whispers works and the fact that while I was checking the shack, Whispers was still on. So he had to be inside the shack because while I was checking everything he would have took off a long time ago if he wasn't in there.
Hell, I've been accused of hacking because I bumped into someone totally by accident. It was Ormond and I was Nurse. I hook someone and BBQ reveals someone in the opposite corner. So I blink through the hell house in the middle and I just happen to land on top of a Claudette. In the end game chat they said "How did you see me?" I said I didn't. I was going after someone else and ran into you by accident. Then he said "I'm Claudette. I'm invisible. The only way you could have seen me is if your hacking. REPORTED!!!!!!!!!!" That made me laugh.

Recently, got accused of playing pp head with walls. I told him I used my shockwave perfectly on him because of undying. He then said I had auto-aim because my shockwaves were literally impossible to get since apparently there are no good killers. Made my brain flood with that dopeameen and on top of the salt he let out :)

I've been accused of hacking for using Knock Out. It's funny how slow survivors' brains move whenever they can't see the aura of the downed person. I love Knock Out for that fact alone (but I genuinely love the perk)

While not myself directly I have had to point out to survivors in end game chat how devour hope works because they accused the killer of cheating by moring them despite devour hope going off.

I dont think i had. I had the problem with addons. I like playing bodyblock hag with her addons that prevent her from teleporting, but make her faster and her phantasm solid and able to bodyblock. Hag is not a character you often encounter, and less so with that configuration. I was accused as hacker several times using that build.

Someone called me a hacker when i was using spies from the shadows
the dude played super safe as in as soon as he heard my TR he sneaked around the outside of the map where the crows are and i just went straight to him.
I didn't even get to respond he just said something like "Wow nice hacks must be nice always knowing where everyone is reported and blocked"

I got accused of wallhacked due to me running class photo on pre-work freddy. He didn't knew about awake survivors's auras being shown if you sleep a survivor.

Literally heard her running by and just timed the hit right. Having good headphones is apparently against the rules LUL
As a survivor I get crap all the time for treating every killer like they run BBQ. Distortion + get in a locker = HAX apparently

I've been accused of cheating for finding hatch with a pink map that I looted. I'm on console though so I'm not sure how he thought I cheated.

Thank you for watching. Is it just me? I’ve played against Legion tons of times but if this is a result of add ons then this is massively OP. There was literally no time to do anything for anybody regardless of where they were on the map. By the time I hid in the locker I had already given up.
(I don’t have Legion so I’m not sure what is possible with potential perk/add-on combos.)

Several times, the most recent being this morning.
I was playing Billy on Sanctum of Wrath. Hooked a survivor and saw a P3 Meg healing someone else on BBQ. I chainsaw over there and the survivor she was healing runs away, but she stays crouched exactly where she is because she thinks that bloody clothes make everyone invisible. She goes down, I hook her, she kills herself, and then I go on and finish the match.
Instantly calls me a hacker, tosses out a few slurs, and then tells me to kill myself. I hope she enjoys her ban.

As soon as they died the accusations and insults were flying in my psn message box 😂😂

That was not addons or perks or anything. That person was hacking. The main reason is the speed which they were just walking, but when they didnt hesitate to get you in the locker was the cherry on top.

As Myers, I was camping (the obsession) on the hook and then teleported across the map for a gen grab (with Dark Devotion).
Myers cannot teleport, so I was hacking.

I've been accused of hacking a few times. Most notable are when using Calm Spirit, and another because I was the last survivor and managed to open a door and escape before the killer could get to me.

Legion player here, it's the same for me. Keep getting accused of wallhacking. Mostly happens when matchmaking gives me rank 18~20 Survivors.

Yeah it is a semi regular occurrence where people try to immerse when Frenzy is rolling, people try to hide in lockers, people insta drop pallets when I'm still in Frenzy so I get out quicker, and the funniest... people using Dead Hard before I'm out of Frenzy. I swear way too many survivors have no clue how Frenzy works.

OMG... the number of people who Dead Hard my frenzy. It makes me laugh every single time.
About 6 months ago I had two SWFs report me because my Hag traps were silent. Problem was I had the bug that didn't show my perks or addons, so they didn't believe me when I explained what Rusty Shackles were. These were Rank 1 players, too.
Also had a survivor get confused about how I found her in a locker seconds after Static Blasting while playing Doc with Whispers. It was a real mystery.

When I used to play this game still I'd go back and watch twitch if there was a streamer in my match l, to see how it went from their pov.
I ran Tinkerer on Clown and the player said he was going to report me for hacking if I didn't have it in my perk layout at the end of match.

I had Hope on in a one-off stint just for fun, and the Michael I was up against accused me of speedhacking.
Conversely I thought someone else was speed hacking and it was just horrible connection on their end (at least thats what they said), not that I had time to check.

I've had that happen once or twice as well.
Also a lot of killers who go "lol nice SWF ez when u cheat with comms" after a match of solos with other solos.

Someone went into a locker AFTER I hooked someone with bbq. But, I also thought someone was cheating when I went against a Michael who had infinite tier 3 and could kill someone before hooking them. To be fair, I had never come across it before and I didn't play killer at that point

Had a last survivor hide in a locker for a very long time which led them to get crows on them. Found them and killed them to which they message me; "there's no way you could have known i was in there you f***ing cheater" 🙄😂

Mostly when playing as Wraith using All Seeing and when I've used I'm All Ears - I tend to point out in after game chat (when the accusations happen) what addons/perks I'm running that leads them to think I'm cheating.
A lot of people threatened to report me when using Mad Grit as well, and I only use it for the memes because I think it's funny :)
