Killing the game
Yeah, Devs. You did it!. It's impossible to play as killer nowadays.
Do you guys even try the game you're developing? Did you know that, right now, if you choose play as killer, you find a match in less than 5 seconds EVERY TIME, simply because nobody wants to play as killer anymore, and if you choose to play as survivor, you face a long time waiting, more than 5 minutes sometimes?
If that's what you guys are aiming for, at least remove the killer's missions, since it's quite impossible to complete them now. Leave only survivor's missions, so we can advance properly on The Rift.

I and many others enjoy playing killer. In fact, I enjoy it enough to make my own challenges.
Decided to take a 2nd profile to red ranks as killer 2 days ago using a killer other than my main (which means something as I've pretty much exclusively played Bubba since his release years ago) and just hit red ranks. Feels interesting to have two red rank killer profiles.
Anyways playing killer will always be stressful for the majority of players due to the fact you're on your own and have to outplay 4 real human beings (although some people act like bots at times).
Therefore we will always have more survivors than killers no matter how much you nerf/buff one particular side. Playing killer just isn't for everyone. Simple as.

When I started playing this, it was almost impossible to play as killer. You had to wait more than 10 minutes some times, because everybody wanted to play as killer. As survivor you used to find a match just as quick as it is to killers today. Don't come saying "playing killer just isn't for everyone", because everybody here plays as killer too. Less now because it's really #########. And btw, I'm red rank as killer too, not that hard as you seem to think.

Instead of slinging around false narratives why don't we discuss what challenge is actually difficult for you to complete?
I promise, it'd be more effective and you'd probably get lots and lots of help.
Coming at the Devs and asking them if they even play their own game isn't going to help you improve.

I don't remember a time where queues were even similar. I've always had quicker killer queues than survivor queues so I can't tell what you're on about. Also getting a new profile to red ranks in 2 days using a killer you aren't familiar with - without being a full time streamer - is not as easy as you make it out to be.
And I stand by what I said: Playing killer is not for everyone. I know so many people who openly admit it's too stressful so they stick to playing survivor. Not sure why you're trying to deny that this is a major aspect that contributes to the fact there's more survivors than killers.

I actually dislike playing killer most of the time, but it isn’t totally a miserable experience if you get matched to people on your level. I rarely play killer except for rift challenges, but even then the last two games were 4K and 3Ks. So saying that it’s impossible is just a bit of an exaggeration. People do it every day.
As far as queues go, wait times are bad for survivors at night but good during the day. The reverse is true for killers.

Survivor queues have always been long.
I'm forcing myself to step away from this game for three days despite wanting to complete more rift challenges. I just cannot take waiting 15 minutes for a survivor game and then being face camped by some maladjusted killer and dying on first hook because my teammates are terrified of being hit even once.
As a survivor main, I have more fun playing killer lately. At least I get to play the entire game and not get slugged at five gens or face camped and farmed and tunneled out of every game.

I agree. I stopped playing this game for 1.5 yrs until recently and I remember that survivor queue was a lot quicker than killer queue. Now it's the opposite. I was a killer main back then but now play a lot more survivor. Killer is just ######### to play these days but the survivor queue times are crazy.

Survivor is harder than killer but that's my opinion and i'm SoloQ which means games are harder for me and sometimes i play with bots (i guess they do exist btw lol).
Killer is easy vs soloq's and stress vs swf's but it's winnable.
