Resolution Problems

Alright people :)

i have just moved over from ps4 to pc - however my resolution is so out of whack i cannot see the killer until he is practically right ontop of me, i have tried all the fixes i have come across, even creating custom screen resolutions and editing game settings however this has not resolved the issue, my screen is 3440x1440p,

any ideas?

    The only solution I can really think of is play in windowed mode, since dbd doesn't scale with displays. I'm lucky since my resolution isn't too out of whack (not good but not awful) but in your case until this gets fixed I'd say play in windowed.

    I know it sucks, but these other comments are pretty much right.

    There's no support for these resolution sizes, so you're better off going windowed.

    thanks for the response, bit disappointing they dont support modern resolutions but meh not too surprised, im having to reinstall the game now as ive messed with the settings and am not confident with going back in to reverse the mess ive probably made, so when i have a fresh install, if i go into windowed mode will i then have a bit more vertical FOV? not too fussed about it being full screen i just want to be able to run a loop without it being complete guess work at every tile

    the problem is that you are unable to even set the game to run 1920x1080p windowed #########
