Freddy is super easy because he can teleport straight to generators, has an easy to use power in chase and his add-ons slow down the game by existing. Just slap on Pop and BBQ start winning games

I'm a survivor main and my killer is level 18. If I actually get fair match making, people just Urban Evade and use Spine Chill so I can never find anyone. Which is why I use Doctor.

Most of the time it doesn't matter what killer I used because I get SWF's that are really out of balance for my skill level. Red and Purple ranks with MAYBE one person who is at my level. I try to find the noob and chase them since I know I'm not going to win against really good people, but they usually just Spine Chill Urban Evade so I can't find them anyway.

I granted have never met you but here's some advice that may or not be helpful.

Killer is quite stressful, no really stressful when you start off, but keep hammering away. There barrels of fun to be had.

As for a starting Killer I can't recommend Freddy enough. He can apply pressure quickly and with Ruin/Undying/Tinker is a beast in the right hands.

Side note, happy holidays to you too

Play all the killers and find one that clicks for you. I started with Wraith and pre rework Doctor but when I started playing as Hag sh just clicked for me, lately it's been Trapper, for a little while it was Pig, just try em all out :)

  • Freddy is the easiest killer to learn and play, high tier output for minimal time invested in learning.

Demogorgon is probably one of the most versatile for having fun with various perk builds. You should get him if that appeals to you later on.

Michael Myers is a ton of fun as well, albeit some folks can get tired of him because so many people play him. You can do some crazy fun builds though, some of the most fun ones in the games like with scratched mirror and a good map offering....

Clown can be a good learning killer if you want to force yourself through a trial by fire. Since you will have to learn the fundamentals of running chases and where to be and when in order to do well with him; as he is a very weak killer. The benefit is his ability is harder to avoid than most.

Wraith is a good killer to start with. You're basically invisible and can sneak up on unsuspecting Survivors
