Save Event items when prestiging

As you guys know when you prestige you lose all your items, including event items and I think when you prestige it should keep these event items since a lot of event items you have to wait a whole year to get or you can never get them again like 4th Anniversary items. I just find it really annoying because all the character I want to prestige have event items that I want to keep and I feel like a lot of people have the same problem, that is why I am proposing if you have any event items it should be kept when prestiging.
