Is this event a test?

Is BHVR testing a way for a secondary objective to be put in with the cankers? If they weren't going with this intention then they would probably be cankerous generators instead so I think there is more to this. Thoughts?

    I don't think the event has anything to do with them adding cankers themselves into the game. I'm assuming they're just testing to see how it works. Then they'll probably figure out something else that they could put in the game as a secondary objective to make a mechanic. Cankers is just the event I'd assume.

    I think it is. They could probably add a boxes with parts to repair gens, gas tanks etc.
