People who Play DS+Unbreakable are boring...
With all these threads about Ruin+Undying being boring, I figured it was time for a killer perspective that did that same thing.

You're all the boring ones for complaining about the same things every other minute. This goes for both sides.

Honestly ruin an undying are fine since not all killers can use the perks well and it's a 50/50 of undying is cleanse first. Take in to consideration totem spawn and map size, and on order for the killer to make use of those 2 perks they have to apply pressure it's not free such as ds during end game collapse or a person with BT going for the save infront of the killer. Ds is a design flaw but ruin an undying require 2 slots an actual presser from the killer to even make use of an it's still a 50/50. Survivors just need to optimize their game play better.

Both are meta so everyone uses them. If everyone uses them they become boring. This would happen to any perk killer etc

Boring but optimal. There will always be a meta in PvP games, and we can't change that nor blame players for following the meta.

DS+Unbreakable are the opposite of boring: They're game changing perks that allow Survivors to keep playing, and are actively used instead of being passively oppressive.

it's like meta perks can increase your odds of winning... people need to stop bitching, ruin+undying? Damn man here take my pink map if you need it so much and do those bones? DS? just eat it, once it's gone it will never work again. That survivor is no longer allowed to make any risky plays anymore which they could before.

go play some civ 5 maybe?

Spine Chill + Kindred + Alert + Urban Evasion + Blendette = Profit
Far less obnoxious than the standard meta and nobody complains about it because the killer never sees any of these perks in action.
Which is also why they never get looked at even though they are incredibly powerful. Passive aggression for t3h win.

DS is the definition of passively oppressive. It doesn't even have to actually be in the game to force you to play a certain way; because it's so strong you are required to assume survivors have it at almost all times.

Just as Camping ans Slugging killers are boring. Survivors are forced to assume that every killer is going to abuse these mechanics.
Oh and by the way, those aren't perks. They are available every match.

depends on how they use them tbh.
if they use these perks to actually get away from the hook and heal up somewhere i dont at all mind it - but if they run them to force the killer into a lose - lose situation then yes, they are extremely boring.
also, what exactly are you trying to prove with this post?

I'd love to not use them, but so many killers camp and tunnel, eh, what can you do. And on console, we don't see the constant Ruin/Undying that people are talking about. At least I don't. Plus I always run Small Game and touch all the totems.

How often do you deal with those though? I play solo queue a lot and play killer quite a bit too but I rarely see this combo, but I see ruin+undying a lot heck I use it myself on plague and it's so cheap lmao

Nah, Behavior is boring. They're too chicken to change up the game and spice things up, so every release of a new chapter doesn't really feel different from the last.

It's an active perk, you use it, where DS+Undying are background effects: they occur without your input. That is what I mean by "passively oppressive".

It doesn't matter if you cleanse undying, any hex will still transfer.

Campers, tunnelers using ruin/undying are everywhere.

If Undying is cleansed first, and any Hex totem after, they're all gone.
Nothing transfers if Undying is cleansed first.

Unless they changed the text, I'm sure you're wrong.
The hex undying allows you to see survivors within totem range.
The secondary ability (hex swapping) is not a hex, but a perk.
I may be wrong because I haven't played in 2 days...

You are 100% wrong.
Undying grants the Hex that any OTHER Hex will transfer. If Undying gets cleansed, the effect is gone.
Again, if Undying gets cleansed first, then Ruin is found, they are both gone. They will not come back.
