I rather 20 minute queues than to be Rank 1 matched with Rank 15 and below
Does anybody else feel this way?
Console players are worse for that matter, no offence. Not all of you are bad but low rank console makes me wonder if my teammates are even old enough to play this game. I rather wait for a while for a good match than to watch less time for a bad one

Sadly it's not even a matter of it being one thing or the other, you WILL have to wait 20 min and STILL you'll probably be matched with all kind of ranked players

For me it is the opposide around.
I rather have a match within 5 minutes and accept that I play against 2 red ranks (I just reached green) sometimes. I just accepted that matchmaking does not exist in this game and that the rank not always reflect on the skill. I get outplayed by Rank 20 and I get 4Ks against two red ranks and two purples. It is as crazy and I just accept it.
I can still understand your complain and I think for people who want a more competitive experience they should add another queue system. You should have the free choice: Short queue with weired matches or long queue with balanced matchmaking. But please do not take away my "quickmatch".

I stopped playing cause the game has just gone down hill from when i started over a year ago.
I remember when you actually had to be good to reach red ranks. When match making worked great and every game was a complete sweat fest and if you werent on top of your game that sweaty red rank killer was sure to be close behind ready to capitalize on your every mistake.
You really needed a team cause the killers you were facing were all p3s and had perfected their favorite killer to its max.
I remember getting games with my full sweat meta perk 4 stack swf and LITERALLY still having to completely play to everybody's fullest ability and still not every one making it out.
This was back when you didnt see moris to much and killers didnt tunnel as much because you were playing killers who had real skill and didnt need to shorten the game by knocking a player out early because they understand how to create pressure ect.
Anywho those were the good ole dbd days.
Now its rainbow ranks every game and everybody is playing at different skill levels which causes people to just suicide on hook or just DC.
Or for me personally i search as a rank 1 survivor get into my game and one of these 2 things happens every time.
1. I start busting out gen number 1 and slowly but surely once this red rank killer finds the pack of hiding freshies they go down quick and fast and im left to do everything which is a lose lose
Or
2. I get chased first, loop the killer for 3 or 4 minutes without really using many pallets then i go down thinking "alright ran him for a good bit i know at least 2 or 3 gens bout to pop and were still good on pallets on the map",
ONLY to get hooked and realize that aint nobody been doing chit the whole time or at best there all trying to get 1 completed and no one comes to save you and you die first hook.
Game is lame. Stopped playing but i still enjoy the forums :)

I get what you mean about console players being bad. I play on Xbox, and I used to play without crossplay and used to recognise the survivors every time I got into a lobby and they were always terrible players. One day my friend and I turned on crossplay, in hopes of finding better teammates. While I do get quicker queue times, (mostly) accurate ranking and mostly good teammates, I keep running into try-hard killers. It's painful.
Do you play on crossplay? And what platform do you play on?

The good old times are over. Rank 1 used to mean something. Now it just means that the person spent a lot of time playing.
Killers can´t afford the luxury to get 12 hooks, because when they try, they get gen rushed and end up with 0 to 1 kill.
Why? Because there just isn´t enough time. Undying Ruin is a bandaid, that attempts to slow the game down, but it will only hold until survivors realize that they just can ignore it and push out gens.
The long waiting times are because there is a massive imbalance in regards of killer survivor ratio.
