Cheryl (Not Survivor) Change
Alright, hear me out.
When playing Cheryl, the player should be hearing static noises instead of a heartbeat. As the killer gets closer, the static could become louder, just as the heartbeat speeds up. I feel like this would fit Cheryl, since static noises are used to indicate when an enemy is nearby in the Silent Hill games.
What do you guys think ?

Flavor-wise? Cool.
System-wise? Sounds like a lot of dev work for one Survivor.

Work? In a video game? Preposterous.

I’d settle for Cheryl Legendary Skins changing her nameplate in the Lobby. But this is really cool too

Yea but it is for best gurl,
Change my mind.

I'd love this, but it's not gonna happen.
How would it interact with unique Terror Radiuses? Would she hear Myers theme or static?
If the static is easy to hear it gives a potential pay to win advantage. If it's quieter, Cheryl is now unnecessarily disadvantaged.
Also it would require Konami's agreement and force the devs to take time off whatever else up they're up to and work on a chapter they already released.
Like, I would love it, don't get me wrong. But realistically it isn't going to happen.

Well, don't think that will be a thing. It would involve a lot of work for existing and future killers, not even considering the fact that people might then begin asking for every licensed survivor to have his own personal theme. While a killer like PH or Myers only needs different work on himself, applying the same thing to every survivor, applying somethign different to a single survivor would mean that every single killer would then need to emit a different "heartbeat", from existing to future ones.

Great point! Didn't think about this.

The static would be heard with the chase music, just as the heartbeat does. Good point though, you raise some good questions.

Great point! I honestly did not think of the impact on other survivors.

Thanks! Honestly, I was quite unsure if I managed to explain myself clearly, but I guess I did haha.
Don't get me wrong tho, I would like to see such a thing, it would add more diversity. But with the immense work this game already needs, proven by the recent bug fixes and the still ongoing issues, I see that as a very difficult task. Not to mention the fact that it would also be less intuitive for newcomers.
