no red stain

no terror radius (so you don't get any chase bonus for avoiding him)

a MASSIVE hit box to hit you in

as long as he gets right upto you before he lunges you CANNOT dodge it and he's double the speed so you have no chance

remind me where the entertainment factor is in playing against this killer ?

he can easily avoid pallet drops etc and he can jump through gaps and again with the massive hit boxes it's easy to hit a survivor

who the hell beta tested this killer and thought YEAH that's REALLY unique and fun!

I assume your talking about Victor, which if you are... Don't call him a baby, BHVR doesn't like that. Just warning ya.

On topic, he isn't treated as a killer - that's why he has no red stain or terror radius. He does have a "shrieking radius" which has always been pretty loud, at least in my experience. It's the same reason things like Spine Chill don't work on him. He is technically a power. Survivor perks don't work on him because killer perks don't. If survivor perks worked on him but killer perks didn't, it'd be unfair, at least imo.

His hitbox is stupid, I'll give you that. The times where he has clearly missed me but still latched on to me or downed me is stupid. As for pallets... Not every killer needs to respect pallets. That'd be incredibly boring. Again, imo. I think the reason they made his hitbox so forgiving is because he's the only power you can literally destroy. If he misses, it can be incredibly punishing. Travel in pairs, that's something I've seen a lot of people say. You can kick victor after he gets a successful down.

This killer is very unique. Fun, not so much - their playstyle is almost always proxy camping and heavy slugging, but maybe they'll fix that.

Okay so you want Viktor to be treated as a Killer. So all Killer Perks should work on him, right?

i'm not sure how saying "he's not treated like a normal killer" excuses horrible mechanics ?

by the time you hear his grunting he's already within sighting range which means you can't escape him with his speed...

you get no benefits from evading him because you're not in chase and as i said he can easily knock you down even if he's an average killer ....

there's nothing unique about it other than what sonzaishinai said.... it's a heat seeking hunter hatchet that you can't avoid

Never said it excuses the mechanics, that's just why they exist. If you want Victor to be treated as a normal killer, he needs to get all the benefits a normal killer does.

You do get a benefit from evading him. You can literally destroy him, that's a pretty big benefit. I agree with the hitbox, I already said that, and yes - you should get points for chasing with him. Seems like an oversight.

He's incredibly unique. He's the first power that you can: Crush, stops you from leaving, can hold lockers, acts as a little watchdog. I don't think he's fun, but the Twins' are incredibly unique.

My personal problems are the lack of evader points for pipping, huge ass hitbox, and his cooldown seems really short. I don't know the actual cooldown but it feels like whenever I kick him, 9 seconds later I can hear Victor being called out again.

Some quality of life thing I'd recommend is reducing the miss punishment by a second or 2, but the survivor's kick isn't canceled when it's started.

but he doesn't have to be treated like a normal killer .... he's the fastest thing in the game and can leap .... i'd say that's a pretty big advantage ?

no other killers can jump on survivors backs... no other killers can hold locker doors closed ..... the only time you can "kill him" is when he's hit some body which 9 times out of 10 is too late and why would 2 of you be stood next to each other for that to happen ?

as i said before his "noise" makes no different as he's already ontop of you by the time you can hear him and a good player isn't going to miss

I think they should just double the time taken to regenerate victor because it is stupidly fast for a good power like that. He’s easy to deal with if you aren’t injured so when playing against twins I’d say your priority is staying healthy. But I do think the recharge time is insane.

i just can't understand how this gets passed the design stage? it's been in beta as well! it's very clear it's over the top but they release it anyway

If the twins are op to you then my friend you need more practice..the twins have many issues holding them back by design

Most you say..yet none of the streamers I watch so far have expressed your opinion..I think your definition of most should be redefined..

You haven't been looking hard then have you? Otsz, arrun, ussylis, just some that have said on stream that it's too good. But you know better obviously

So you disagree with the people that play the game on a daily basis and probably have triple the play time than you? You think you're in a better position to say that it's perfectly fine? :D

Listen you, all the posts you've posted on here reak of being combative and rude. Dial it back some. People are giving their insight and you're being a contrarian and difficult. I suppose that's the nature of the internet where everyone acts like their experience is the only truth. I can tell you as a killer main, they aren't as easy as you are making them seem. When you do miss a pounce he's stunned for more than a bit which usually leads to him being killed if you're against a good team. He's also actually very difficult on console to land, even with his huge hit box. Mind you it could just be my inexperience with the killer.

When has Otz said Viktor is too strong/the Twins are really good? He's complained about their bugs and likes Coup de Grace but that's about it, as far as I remember.

And, honestly, if you aren't able to dodge Viktor's leap, and then crush him, most of the time then you need more practice. His leap hitbox isn't even that big and you can dodge it by looping small objects, if he is close to you while doing this he shouldn't ever be able to grab you.
