PC Oni Mains (Or Oni mains in general) help me!
So, I recently got Oni on my Steam version of the game. It was a close call between him and Blight, but I decided on Oni in the end, since I think he's one of the most enjoyable killers in the game to play. I think the same for Blight, but I just enjoy Oni more.
Since I got the Stem version of DbD I've realized how easy it is to avoid spins with a mouse... Unless it's with Oni. I am having such a terrible time controlling Blood Rage, specifically his insta-down m1 lunge. I am laughably easy to spin during it, and I would appreciate any tips on how to control him better, and how to do the Oni flick in general.

You don't have to fully hold the m1 to get an insta down hit, just make sure you don't go for a quick swing during this mode. For an insta down, there is kind of no way to explain it specifically, but you can hold m1 down for a second and then let go while flicking your mouse towards a survivor trying to spin you around to hit them much faster. This is when you are not dashing.
When you are dashing, you just have to get a feel for the movement of the swing.

Thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to try that out whenever I play Oni again. I know you don't have to hold it down fully, but I tend to panic whenever they start spinning and hold it longer than I need to.

Oni power is based on your mouse DPI, higher DPI = easier to flick hit and avoid spins. My normal DPI is 800, but when I activate my power I switch to 4000 DPI, That way I avoid getting spun and have a much easier time to flick.

There is actually a tell for the timing as soon as Oni is ready.
I haven't played him in a hot second, but I believe that it was that when you see his hands flash with blood, you can let go for the instadown.

That is something I've started doing. Demon Dash is just easier to control for me, but not that great when the Survivor insists on getting in my face. Demon Strike is so much harder to control for me.

His hands flash when being able to insta down? That is interesting.

Yeah. It's pretty subtle unless you're watching for it, but after about half a second, his hands get blood veins going, and that's your cue.

That sounds cool

Oni is all about timing. You need to get the time to lunge with demon dash and to properly demon strike (it takes half a second to "load" the insta down m1). Also, you need to learn how to flick, when to flick and when you'll make the flick (pratice a lot with his charge time add-ons so you'll know what to do when running them).
Also, half of the survivors know what to do against Oni, so they'll try to juke you with spins, cut corners (auto aim screw Oni really hard) and hide in your FOV (Demon dashing/striking reduces it quite a lot) so you'll need to read their playstile (once they do their jukes one or two times you should know what to do).
When chasing a injured survivor use A D A D to strafe and get a little slower, so you can bait their DH.
Use A D A D to strafe when you're going into a loop (it takes time to pratice and get hold of it).
Don't use W when dashing as it screws your strafe and turning control.
Short loops, L-T walls, Long walls and shack are a BIG NO NO to demon fury, avoid using it on this loops unless you really know what you're doing and the survivor don't know how to run the loop/Oni properly.
This doesn't apply if you're using s̶c̶o̶t̶t̶k̶n̶o̶t̶ topknot.

Also, look in youtube for Scott Jund's ultimate oni guide.

U can definitely play shack and short loops. But yeah T-L walls are a big no no

Yeah, I should have meant that you should not play it (if you don't know how)
