Please give us mouse and keyboard support on console..... please
I have spent many years playing this game since day 1 on ps4. A lot of hours and $$$ has been spent on this game. However, as a killer on console, I have always been at a disadvantage with half the killers compared to pc players. A lot of the old killers and most of the new killers coming out have skill shots that are much harder to control with a controller. A perfect example is Victor, on Ps4, he is completely 100% broken and uncontrollable. Even moving left to right normally is a brutal challenge. 360's are hard to hit on a controller.
Every cross play game that has been released has implemented full mouse and keyboard support, except DBD. Apex, Fortnite, FF14, Warzone all have full MNK support since the first patch of going cross play in each respective game. I am begging, can you guys please unlock MNK for us. I want the same equipment and accuracy as my pc counterparts I play with. I do not want to buy the game and restart on my new pc when you guys could just have MNK implemented like all the other cross play games.
The game isn't going full cross progression so I can't move to my pc. That's fine, I don't blame Behavior for that. However, with that being the case, can we please please please please please get MNK support. PS5 with MNK will look and feel like a pc. There's no reason not to add it at this point like every other cross play game.

It sounds to me like the issue here is not that you need a mouse and keyboard. The issue here is that you can't save your progress to play it on PC. If you could do that, you could easily play the game comfortably from EITHER platform, depending on your mood or what you were playing.
Mouse and keyboard support for console sounds like a band-aid fix for a larger problem.

the thing with that is that its not their fault. Sony probably will never agree to do that. I agree with you 100%, however, the more reasonable solution would be to just enable MnK on consoles. Its already native and coded onto consoles, its up to the developer to allow it in their game. Behavior is quite simply CHOOSING not to do it for whatever reason.

They've said they're not enabling the use of MnK on console because it actually requires a U.I. overhaul.
I believe they might eventually work on that but have said this is not a pressing issue as it requires a lot of work to begin with.

That’s the issue, it should be a priority. If it’s not, then we need full cross progression. The game will never be as great as it could be unless they do something. They quite literally are just simply being lazy when every other cross play game did it from the beginning.

In the playstation 5 system UI, I found mouse and keyboard setting entries so it's possible on that one at least if a game ever supports the input. There's adapters for last gen, but, I have no idea how good any are and if some are good what the best ones are or how their latency is

I’ll look into if it works for Ps5. I can def see the superior control you have with your mouse. If the icons were covered up, I would’ve thought you were playing on pc. Good looking out man I’ll look into it.
On a side note.... work on that build man lol. You have no slowdown perks at all as Huntress who needs nothing at all besides slowdown perks and bbq.

Xim apex has been running on ps5 since December 16 but u need download a new beta.
You can use any keyboard or joystick:
Classic mode: a Keyboard and mouse.
Hibrid mode: (Joystick one hand and mouse)
Important: the controllers (mouse and keaboard) must has a cable included.
You also need a Sony licensed external controller..examples:
Hori
Razer Raiju.

To make a keyboard work with the console, yes. For it to be able to be used to play DBD instead of with the controller, that is not enabled by the devs. I think I remember them saying it was an interface issue or something.

I know, but i saw some guy in the comments above, i also checked some videos on YouTube, it looks like you can play all games on K&M with that adapter

Yes, if you want to play with m&k in consoles u need buy Xim Apex, now is compatible with ps4 and ps5 and also x box one/series.
