So I'm fairly new to this game. I find it fun and I like playing legion.

I've had a lot of issues deciding what to run for builds and overall there's a lot I need to improve at

so if you got any suggestions for anything to do with legion or just killer in general I'm open to hear you out

anyways thanks a lot.

First off the most important thing to remember when playing any killer but especially Legion, is to be patient. The power rewards precision hits and punishes missed swings, and trust me you really don’t want to have to look at your hands for 4 seconds while the Nea who just spin you clicks her flashlight. Lunging with frenzy isn’t really a great idea either in my opinion because you’re far easier to spin, so it’s better to get a point blank hit.

Once you feel confident with your frenzy, try and identify situations where you should use it and where you’re better off just getting a hit. Obviously if you find a healthy survivor you’re almost always better off going into frenzy, but it’s not just the deep wounds you can use, you can get the information on the team and then go after the first survivor if you wished.

Its quiet meta but in my opinion, Legion can get the most out of Ruin with his power. You hit a survivor on the gen, they now have to let go and mend, all while their gen is regressing in their face. Obviously pairing Ruin with Undying is standard but don’t be afraid to experiment with other perks, like haunted grounds. Another thing, don’t be afraid of criticism because you’re running noed. Like you said you’re new and killer is punishing as hell, so for the first couple of weeks there isn’t anything wrong with it until you start to feel confident in your ability.

BBQ is good on virtually any killer so that’s always a good idea, but after you’ve chosen perks to benefit your power, you should chose perks that benefit your play style. For instance if you like the chases and think you play better when you’re actively pressuring the survivors, then Brutal Strength is a great option. Or if you prefer to sneak up on the survivors and get a very quick first hit on them, then Tinkerer might work better for you. It all comes down to identifying how you play and using the perks that play into your own personal strengths.

Add ons for most killers can really change the whole way a killers power interacts with the survivors, and for some they can do very little for actual variety and unfortunately Legion falls into that second category. But they still have some add ons worth running, the best ones probably being the cold dirt which takes about a second off your fatigue and the second being the stolen sketch book, which adds 2.4 seconds onto your frenzy. But again it boils down to how you play, like if you feel like you’re always getting at least two hits whenever you use frenzy, then the Legion pin might be a good choice. One last thing I’ll mention is the Iridescent Button, which by itself is pretty strong but combined with the right build can be nutty. If you combine this add on with terror radius perks, so for example Coulrophobia, Overwhelming Presence, Unnerving Presence and another tracking perk of your choice, you can really screw with the survivors heads.

And that’s really all there is to know about Legion. Once you find out your play style and get into a groove with them, they’ll quickly become your favourite. The only mother thing I can say is read up on the number of their power and stats, and watch some videos or streams from people playing them. Some to recommend are Otzdarva who did a 50 win streak with them, and Dowsey who has a best build series. Other than that, have fun with the edgiest of all the killers, and remember to never stop slashing!

What I like to run on my Legion is:

    • BBQ (For bloodpoints and nice map awareness)
    • Bamboozle (To be even faster when vaulting and to fix the issue with Legion where Survivors can just vault back because while vaulting you don't have collision at some point)
    • Thanatophobia (This perk is made for Legion)
    • Surge (Since you can only down Survivors with your m1 [Not counting Frank's Mix Tape because it sucks] you will probably always get value from it)

Sometimes I switch Surge for Fire Up to be even faster while vaulting!

yup.....but have in count that Legion's lunge it's pretty buggy right now.......

    WHILE IN FRENZY:

-After vaulting a pallet or window ur lunge becomes rlly and i mean ReaLLY SHORT untill u start sprinting for 1.5 seconds after vaulting....

-Also when u are falling ur lunge becomes short untill u reach the ground and then start sprinting.....soo yeah ...be aware of the perk "balance landing" and dont try to hit the survivor early

-If u decide to stop and then start the lunge....congratulations ur lunge becomes short also....:/

I know about these bugs, the Developers should probably be working on them right now, or at least I hope.
