can we remove "difficulty level" of survivors already
why is there still the "difficulty level" of the different survivors characters shown? It makes absolutely zero sense and is only confusing new players. It should be removed honestly. All survivors have the same gameplay LOL. And defining difficulty level by just 3 perks makes also no sense.

I think it's there to tell how hard it is to do the Adept achievement with them.
I think they should remove the difficulty from both the Killer and Survivor.

Difficulty ratings make no sense for killers either.
Freddy is listed as "hard" and Hillbilly is listed as "easy" even though Freddy can be effectively played by a crossaint while Hillbilly's skill cap includes curving. Even just downing a zig-zagging survivors using his chainsaw is more difficult than EVERYTHING you can possibly do as Freddy.

I think it's more about understanding the power.
Hillbilly: Hold M2 to go vroooooom.
Freddy: How sleep timer works, another Power with the Fake-Pallet addon etc. Or they didn't change the difficulty after the rework.

I think the Difficutly rating is there for Adept achievements and how hard it is to understand Killer's power, for example Freddy is listed hard because he does so many things, even tho these things aren't even hard to do, and Billy is listed as easy because you basically just go zoom, but there is a lot more to his ability than to Freddy's.

Ooow ok yeah you got a point. Didn't think of the adepts or/and the "number of things" that come with the power. It makes sense from that point of view.

The guy with a third of the survivor meta perks and a third which helps with getting the hatch?

I'm really not sure how BHVR decides on the difficulty, it was just a guess. They should remove the difficutly info from characters because like you said it doesn't make sense for some characters if my guess is correct.

Imma guess its listed as hard because of how perks worked before changes to Borrowed Time and Left Behind.

The difficulty Leveln on survivors is perfectly fine. It’s depending on how loud the survivors breathe and how loud they are when they’re injured.

Its clearly based around their perk playstyle. Adept David is going to be considerably harder than Adept Meg/Claudette.

The only Adept survivor achievements that are remotely difficult, at least in terms of "This character has a perk that is going to actively disadvantage you against the killer" are David and Laurie.
