How do we improve Michael Myers tier 1 to make it fresh and modern?

I've heard people say that they should remove his tier 1 entirely. I believe that the tier is outdated, I don't think it should be removed doe because when he is in tier 1 he reminds me so much of the movies, they give me chills! I want them to keep that aspect of him but make the tier fresher and more modern.


Do you have any ideas on how to improve his tier 1?

    Really all I can say is increasing the stalk in tier 1

    His tier 1 is fine, with the exception of the baby lunge

    I don't think people would complain about the tier if it was fine. People are even saying remove the tier entirely, does that say anything to you? Remember these people aren't just killer mains, survivor mains feel also that his tier 1 is too weak.

    Remove the speed loss. Maps are still huge. Early game is the most important area for killers to get their pressure going. Being relegated to 105(or is it 110) speed and having to find a survivor and hope they dont see you and break LOS is a massive time sink.

    Been playing Micheal on/off since I first started 3 years ago and he just feels like he's been left behind. He's been power creeped by killers like Oni and Blight. Yes, overall the game is easier for killers now than it was then, but the longtime survivors are also much better players now.

    That would be a really nice improvement. Do you have any ideas on how they would change tier 2 as well? I don't know if the lunge increase from 1 to 2 is enough. I feel like tier 2 should have maybe slightly increased kicking speed on pallets, breakable walls and gens and also slightly increased vaulting speed.

    In tier 1 when he is stalking but isn't looking at a survivor he should move at 120% movement speed

    Kind of like in the movies where he is standing in a place and the next second he just disappears

    -Buff his movement speed to 110%

    -Reduce Pallet Stuns, Increase Vault Speed, make it more of a resource than an obstacle. But without making it so that you want to stay in Tier 1 the whole game or that Tier 2 becomes a detriment. You could buff Tier 3 a bit to help there.

    My personal idea was just to remove Tier 1 in its entirety and EW 2 becomes "stalk mode" whilst EW3 becomes just "evil within". It'd bring him more in line with GF and Pig/Wraith. Perhaps give him undetectable when not in a chase or something to give him much needed immunity to OoO.

    Even EW3 isn't 'that' strong anymore. It's a timed extended lunge essentially. And a good looper will make you want to tear your hair out if you don't catch them in a deadzone or a surprise EW3 trigger. I consider Micheal pretty perk reliant in a chase. I use BS and Bamboozle for his chases.

    Let him stalk himself out of Tier 1 quicker. I think that would appease a lot of the people who want Tier 1 gone.

    I like Tier 1. What I want is for him to return to being immune to Spine Chill while in Tier 1.

    It sounds pretty cool. But if you would picture how it actually would be played out, it sounds clumsy.

    I disliked that change, yes it made him stronger against OoO. But considerably more survivors used Spine Chill anyway.

    I would improve it this way.

    At the start of the game it remains undetectable but with a slightly increased movement speed (105% to 110%) and with the lunge slightly increased also to 0.2 seconds.

    When it lurks for the first time it has an ability to hide without being detected so easily, because currently everyone sees it out there and they hide easily before reaching a generator.

    For that ability to work, it is the same as with ghostface when stalking from cover. from there he increases his Evil Within 1 moderately and if he has the tribute to Judith it increases considerably. If they see it, it can be hidden by making an animation of disappearing from where it is hidden and lurking like in the halloween movies. Suddenly it is on one side and seconds later on the other side, just as shown in the halloween dlc trailer.

    Something like that I have thought in the event that one day they improve it but I see it impossible, also many people say that they eliminate level 1 just like that but they are forgetting the addon of the level 1 mirror.

    @AggressiveFTW If he had normal lunge while in T1, it wouldn't be that bad and increase his stalk gain. The ability to go back into T1 would be awesome too! Imagine the stealth plays you could get with him. They'd have to remove the cap on stalking too, which I would be cool with.

    Get rid of Spine Chill detecting Undetectable, for one.

    What kind of genius gives a perk that eliminates stealth on stealth killers

    EWWWWW he's actually 105%? the fk for what?! I literally thought he was 110%. It does balance out scratched mirror but holy moly.

    Try using scratched mirror on a larger open map and you'll see how much it really isn't strong.

    Make him immune to perks like Spine Chill while in Evil Within 1. Reduce the amount required to enter Evil Within 2.

    This would allow him to try to make stealth plays early on while also enabling him to leave tier 1 when the player feels its appropriate.

    Make him a 110 killer with a normal lunge. Potentially perma-stealth is very strong, but as a 105 killer with no lunge it's a little too far in the opposite direction

    -Increase movespeed to 110%

    -Remove the whole "farther away = slower stalk" thing. If Ghostface doesn't have it, why should Myers?

    -Bring back the ability to ignore Spine Chill

    -Reduce or remove the lunge penalty
