I found the author of the killer rulebook
So I'm just vibing playing Legion, and I hook a Zarina. Everyone starts swarming around the hook to try and bomb it so I stay around and hit a couple of people. Just before the Zarina hits second stage she DCs on hook. The game ends not soon after and I see this absolute gem in the post-game chat:
This lovely individual then hit me with a "you should've let them unhook me"
I honestly thought that this kind of person was just a stereotype. I didn't think I'd actually run into someone who expected me to walk across the map the second I hooked someone, regardless of the circumstances.
He told me to throw myself off a bridge shortly after. Telling someone to kill themselves because they capitalized on your teammates failed rescue is honestly a new low.

I hope you reported them, they deserve a ban, even if its only temporary. Something wrong with survivors in this game, the entitlement is extremely strong, and if things don't go their way, they just go crazy. I assumed this was a Mature rated game, but I think the majority of players are between 12-17.
I have over 2k hours in this game, and maybe 85% of it as solo survivor. I have never once had a killer wish for harm upon me and my family. The worst I have had was maybe 2-3 killers talk down to me for being a blendette. Survivors, on the other hand, have been the most toxic gamers I have ever played with. Doesn't matter which role I play, there is almost always someone toxic. These days, I have been getting lots of people who run the killer to me at the start of the match just to reveal where I am. I have had them block me in corners just to make crows appear.
If this game dies, it will be because of 3 things- Toxic Survivors, Terrible Matchmaking, and the Devs inability to make the game more fun and engaging.

i bet they wanted to speak to the manager after this
for real tho, i do hope you reported them?

Yeah, I reported them in game, don't worry. Hopefully they get banned. This is probably the worst post-game chat in terms of toxicity in all of my 1000 hours of playing.

I have honestly received worse. Play a basement Trapper against a flashlight/sabo swf and the chat would be so toxic your monitor would start to corrode.

Yeah, I can imagine. It's just the first time some dude has pre-typed a paragraph to insult me in the chat, he was ready to smash that enter button the second the game ended. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

People are so silly. And damn , you weren't kidding when you said they wrote a book!! Look at that paragraph.
People really need to learn to take a loss. Have some class and lose with dignity. You don't have to agree with the tactics that beat you, but , you lost. Accept it and move on.

I just don't understand people. I had a similar experience playing as Hag one night. We were on Pale Rose and the Survivors spawned near shack where the basement happened to be. I get the first down in shack and take them down and hook them, as I'm placing a trap in the basement a Survivor come running down and I grab them off the unhook. Go back to placing my trap and I'm not even 5 feet out the door when another Survivor comes running up, I smack them and they keep running down triggering my trap in the basement so I teleport, down, and hook them. That's three in the basement, two of which just handed themselves to me. I replace the basement trap, one let's go, and I'm moving on to find the fourth guy. As I am again, maybe 10 feet out the shack door the last Survivor runs around the side triggering my window trap so I smack him, he bolts for the unhooks and triggers my only other trap in the area so I down him and he DCs before I can pick him up.
In the post game the one that DC'd goes off in me about camping and that it's all Hag is good for, yada yada yada, and myself and the first Survivor I hooked both bit right back on him and his teammates about rushing the unhooks, especially against a Hag that got the good fortune of getting their first down at the basement.

I had a pc player get on his Xbox to talk trash to me because he was mad he died first and commited too long to a gen and missed his DS when I grabbed him off, while he was dead on hook. He even commented on how I was running noed, even though he was dead way before endgame and it wasn’t needed to kill him. All while he was playing in a 4 man SWF who ONLY do gens with friends (I run discordance on every killer, so I always had the info). I thought that was amazing. Survivors always blame the killer for their misplays. Survivors telling me to k•ill myself is very common. Which u can imagine does wonders for my depression and suicidal thoughts lmao.

Yeah survivors are kinda insane in this game, and I'm a survivor main. I play killer for challenges and I have to turn off my messaging on PS4 now because I know I'm going to get tons of messages no matter what. I'm a level 17 killer and I get messages from survivors who live and the few that I manage to kill. I got a message from a level 5 survivor the other day who escaped taunting me for how bad I was. The rare occasion I get a noob killer in purple ranks, I send "GGs, unfair match making." It's funny that killers complain about teabagging as toxic when people cross the line with messages so often.

The entire point of a survivor is to be helpless. That's why you're required to wait and get rescued by teammates. That's why you may not escape. That's the appeal. You're horrified and being chased by a slasher of some sort. If they want to have power over someone they should probably play killer.
