Why is hag so slow???
playing hag for a daily after not playing her for a while, and it feels like her speed is HALF what it used to be. I'm running slower than all the survivors! How am I supposed to win a chase with this???
And don't give me any "you have to set traps in strategic places" BS; when I pop to a trap the survivors STILL leave me in the dust with their standard running speed running away from the trap!
Is this a new bug?

I played against a Hag yesterday and she seemed to be fine.

Played her for a daily today, she seems like her normal 110% self to me.

If something was wrong with Hag then SC would have posted a video about it. Do you usually play 115% killers? 5% speed difference feels like another world in this game.

As Hag you need to place traps, you never chase as her. Many survivors trigger traps on purpose by sneaking to the border of its activation range and then running away, this might be the reason why they gain so much ground after a trigger

you are not supposed to chase survivor as Hag, you are supposed to hit them when they stepped into your traps. If you chase as Hag then you are not playing Hag

She’s slowed down after teleporting so if they pop the trap on its edge and immediately turn and run, they’ll gain some distance on you if you chase them after teleporting.

Nope, she is the same speed I've always known her to be. She has always been 110% speed, i.e. slower than most Killers but faster than poor Spooky Myers. And the Traps are how you are supposed to make up a lot of time by teleporting where you need to go. If you are having trouble with that, I can suggest the Perk: Play With Your Food.

I think she’s partly made out of a tree or something, possibly an oak, so she’s probably a lot heavier than she appears to be.
Surprised she doesn’t have loud foot stomp sfx like Demo, tbh

Just played a match as her yesterday and everything seems fine. No bugs, no problems.

OK, thanks. Maybe because she's closer to the ground there was some sort of optical illusion that I was moving way slower, and maybe all the survivors who kept smoking me had sprint burst. 🤷

If you hadn't played her until recently, it'd be the first thing you notice. If you have played her recently, idk the servers had a bad day.
The servers and latency are just the worst part of the game too often imo.

Try teleporting much faster.
But in all seriousness, I haven't found any issues with hag's speed over the last day.
Lag maybe. She can feel really slow when you switch back from a faster killer.

Hag is faster than survivors. She's not the fastest killer (she's one of the slower ones) but she is still faster than any survivor.
Even with buffs like Blood Pact or Hope she is still faster than any Survivor. The only killer that is slower than survivors is Nurse.
Something must be wrong with your settings or your controller or your game.
