Just, generally -- anybody got good tips for playing Blight? Especially around how to manage his dash mechanic and not get thrown woefully off-course during chases? I'm playing on PC, btw.

Play with compound 21 for a while to get a sense for what survivors will do, then play without it for a while until what you learned becomes muscle memory then you won't need it anymore

After that play double speed addons for 40-50 games in a row, having high speeds under control will make all lower speeds feel like they are in slow motion and become much more manageable plus now you can use both speed addons effectively

A very general tip I can give is to always overuse your Rush. Its better to look stupid when you fail some rushes than it is to never improve by being afraid to use them. With time you learn when to actually rush, which is surprisingly often even on loops you wouldn't except. Sometimes you have to stop looping in the direction the survivor is running around a loop and run the other way to get an angle for the rush.

The faster you flick, the less distance the survivor gets, which can determine if you get the hit or not, especially with pre-turning the camera before the lunge (although PC players obviously have the advantage here). Higher DPI = faster and more extreme turning, even up to 180 degrees, but you can also do this with lower dpi mouses if you just flick your mouse hard enough.

The problem with losing people during rushes is just an experience thing, I don't think much can help there except for maybe compound 21 and shadowborne, eventually you just know where the survivor most likely runs to, which lowers the chance of you losing them.

I hope at least some of these tips helped you and good luck in your future games!

when you want to cancel your power faster just swing. it will make you look dumb but it can stop you mid-rush instead of having to bump into something or reach your maximum distance. also his lunge is easier to turn than his rush so you can use it to get around corners and hit survivors. also if they stand behind a wall to counter your rush you have 2 option:

mind game them in a rush but this can be hard to pull off or cancel your power to avoid using all your tokens. this way you will get your rush back faster when you're confident in your next one. mastering the killer takes time so don't lose hope if you lose games just focus on getting better at using your power.

What the others have said, also you can still hit a survivor that's right in front of you after slamming, just quickly go M2 M1 and it's just like a regular hit

Another tip some here have missed, besides the Point-Turn, is that Blight can Lethal Rush pallets and walls to break them with a special animation. It's similar to Demo Shredding a Pallet or wall.
