Are there more perk reworks coming this Mid-Chapter?

Question for the devs. And anyone who has an answer. The game meta for survivor is stale. And killer is slightly better though could still use change. So will there be more perk changes. To get some into the spotlight.

    Well personally I would think of some changes such as:

    DS: reduced timer to 30/35/40 (I see this as justified due to pgtw nerf)

    Undying: Instead of moving the hex around it will instead move that hex onto itself, destroying undying and replacing it with the destroyed hex.

    OoO: Survivor starts with 15/20/25 seconds, these seconds indicate how long they can look at the killer and the killer can see them, meaning they have to be alot more careful with their use.

    Dead hard: No longer makes you invincible during the lunge (it doesn't anyway, exhausted on ground gang), however, the lunge distance is increased but is also slightly slower than a lunge.

    Iron Will: Stops the killer from hearing your injured breaths by 100% but only while walking and crouching, while running it's only reduced by half that value.

    Ruin: Regression is only while generator is not in the killers terror radius and is reduced to 50%/100%/150%, while in killers terror radius instead it works like old ruin, this means that they can kick it aswell with let's say pop or oppresion.

    NOED: All survivors suffer from the exposed status effect, however, the killer now instead moves at 2/3/4% slower speed.

    These are just some ideas off the top of my head for some nerfs for both survivor meta perks and killer meta perks.

    They announced a bunch of Perk Changes not so long ago. However, the last time they changed some Perks it took around 6 months until those were changed, so I would not hope for Perk Changes in the next Midchapter-Patch.

  • Well they just added 8 perks; and some of them could already use a rework; but they will probably re-work one perk at least maybe two by the time they add like 8 more......This is why so many perks are mediocre haha.

    They said they don’t only look at the Meta when they create or rework perks.

    And they shouldn’t.

    but Dead Hard was on the list of perks getting reviewed next, though that might be because of Dedicated servers..

    I'm surprised that there wasn't a ptb yesterday. It's been 3 weeks since the Twins released so it should've been announced by now what the ptb holds.

    I'm hoping that if they're not going to do the ptb on schedule then they should have more on it.

    Holidays. If they start a PTB on the 22th, they would most likely not work on it anymore.

    Last year the Deathslinger-Chapter also was released in March, meaning the PTB took place mid-February.

    Fair enough. Knew that things would be slow over the holidays but I assumed they would've just released the ptb and left it alone till we after the holidays.

    Why nerf Ruin/Undying? It actually promotes really healthy gameplay.

    Killers are encouraged to spread out and pressure multiple people. If you just tunnel one guy, it isn't gonna do anything.

    Survivors are encouraged to look for totems instead of immediately slamming gens.

    And that DS change is nice for Killers but it doesn't address the issue. DS needs to be anti-tunnel. Unlimited duration, but it ends when being healed, after another Survivor is hooked, working on a gen, getting in a locker or during the EGC. As compensation, DS works on every hook state and, like I said, the time is unlimited.

    They will probably buff some Clown's perks, Bamboozle will hopefully get one QoL change. (one of the effects the same at all tiers, 15 % or 16 seconds)

    PGTW already got changed, so it will probably stay the same.

    Coulrophobia will probably finally get buffed somehow.

    I still dont get why perks like Vigil or Leader stay active for 15 seconds after no longer in range but all TR killer perks disappear the moment people a no longer in range.

    Coulrophobia and similar perks need that buff.

    I haven't heard anything about midchapter except speculation on what MIGHT release based off of things devs had said will come eventually. My hope is the key nerf, ds changes, hopefully Dead Hard is done being made for dedicated servers. Other than that I have no hopes for midchapter. The last few have been pretty stale. I mean... Ch 15 midchapter was map reworks, Ch 16 was the Billy and Bubba changes that nerfed Billy and buffed Bubba that weren't all that amazing, and Ch 17 was... what even was it ider other than MacMillan update.

    inb4 they somehow make Bamboozle only proc on Basic Attacks.

    Much better idea, they will make it a hex totem with a 60/50/40 second cooldown that blocks windows when you hit Survivors with your basic attack within 16 meter range for 15 seconds.

    If I were to buff coulrophobia I would make it so survivors have a 100% penalty to healing while in the killers terror radius and when they leave the terror radius the effect lingers on them for 3/4/5 seconds.

    The issue with Coulrophobia is that why would anybody heal in your Terror Radius?

    I understand that no one will heal in the terror radius but as you approach them they will be under the effects of coulrophobia but then when you leave the effect will linger on them like how Vigil and Leader does
